    Innkeeper Information

    Innkeepers Description:

Ken and Deb arrived in Nantucket in 1995 after Ken had worked for 20 years managing properties that included The Royalton, United Nations Plaza Hotel in New York and the Sutton Place Hotel in Chicago. Deb worked in retail display with Henri Bendel, Fiorucci, Wempe, and Crate & Barrel. "When Kevin was born, we thought about a lifestyle change. An inn was a perfect fit and we fell in love with Nantucket. We enjoy sharing our many 'discoveries' on this unique island."

Our stay at the Union Street Inn was absolutely outstanding. We were celebrating a 45th wedding anniversary. Ken and his lovely wife (the owners) make it a practice to warmly meet and greet each and every guest. The charming facilities are extremely well maintained. The room was delightful, with premium bedding, and all the trimmings making this a super-premium property. Breakfast was in a word, excellent, every staff member concerned and caring. The Inn ( circa early 1770's) is a very short distance from the heart of Main Street, yet quiet, peaceful, plush and opulently comfortable. Picturesque courtyard patio right off the kitchen. Ken has profoundly succeeded in creating one of Nantucket's premier, and very best lodging experiences, in a wonderful town full of beautiful B&B's. Every amenity possible has been graciously made available to Union Street Inn guests. AN ABSOLUTE WINNER!!!
