Century House

Historic bed and breakfast, Nantucket's Century House Inn, with a breezy, wrap-around verandah where you can enjoy "Gerry's Berry Buffet Breakfast," and cliff-top location, makes it a preferred stay for sophisticated travelers.

"Top 5 Eastern US Summer Destinations" (forbes)

"If you can tear yourself away from "Gerry's Berry Buffet Breakfast" or afternoon cookies and cream on the veranda, you might consider touring the surrounding area where this charming 1830's B&B is located; classic styling is met with luxurious modern amenities (Molton Brown bath products) at this cliffside spot frequented by TV producers scouting locations and soaking up works of the former artists-in-residence" -- ZAGAT Top US Hotels, Resorts and Spas, 2006 Guide.

"This handsome inn offers a homey atmosphere just a short walk to the center of town.
One of the highlights is the immense wraparound porch, complete with rocking charis, where you could relax away an afternoon if you like.
Rooms, which are spotlessly clean, range widely in size from the garret rooms on the third floor, to more spacious expanses on the second floor. Little extras include luxury bath products and robes. The entire property is outfitted with free wireless Internet. An artist-in-residence program means the walls are hung with numerous interesting paintings." ---Frommers Guide, New England

Large renovated corner room. Wide pine floors, coffered ceiling. Ralph Lauren wall coverings and fabrics in the king bedroom and bath. A 19th century Red laquer restored bureau and a make-up table and chair complete the furniture along with a love seat reading nook and antique cedar hope chest. The marble floor in the bath sets off the deep tub and large vanity. The oriental rug and original oil paintings will certainly make this bright, quiet room one of the most popular.

"Even the Ritz cannot match this wonderful king bed!"
