Really enjoyed our stay at the Centerboard! Darling bread and breakfast and the innkeeper Lyn, is really a nice person who I liked so much over the phone that I decided I wanted to stay there before I even saw their website! Very accommodating and more than we expected!

From the moment we walked into this lovely Victorian home, we were treated like royalty, or even better, as the very favorite members of the family. Our innkeeper, Lyn, was warm, welcoming, and so very knowledgeable about the island. Reservations were swiftly made, suggestions for activities were spot on, and anything we needed for our adventures was swiftly provided. I haven't even mentioned the most amazing part of our stay, the breakfasts and homemade treats at teatime were absolutely out of this world! Lyn is a fabulous cook and takes such pride in providing a healthy, satisfying, and delicious start to her guests' day. We highly recommend this gem of an inn.

I can't say enough about my stay at the Centerboard Inn nn. Our accomodations were lovely, clean and updated and the location could not have been better. We were a short walk from restaurants, the beach, shops and history. Lyn, our innkeeper was gracious and helpful and an outstanding baker.

The Centerboard Guesthouse is a perfect, quaint little inn on a quintessential Nantucket street... It has the cozy, historical charm you likely are looking for during a visit to such a lovely island... It was exactly what we were looking for, and were quite pleased with our luck in finding availability here on a holiday weekend... The guesthouse itself is charming on its own, but when you add the lovely innkeeper, Lyn, into the picture, the appeal is that much greater! Lyn is an absolute doll and was such a treat to bump into on our various trips in and out throughout the day. She's warm, gracious, and went out of her way to make sure we were enjoying ourselves and were comfortable. Whether it's helping you make dinner reservations, loaning you beach chairs and towels, or letting you keep your overbearing suitcases under her watch before or after your check-in/out, she was incredibly hospitable to us throughout our stay.... and let's not forget to mention the delicious fresh-baked scones, cookies, and pastries morning and afternoon with tea! It was a pleasure staying at the Centerboard Guesthouse and Lyn makes it her business that each passerby feels at home during their Nantucket experience.... Innkeepers like Lyn are few and far between and I would highly recommend a visit to this gem! I will look forward to visiting again!

Centerboard Guest House is a fantastic place to stay on Nantucket. It is just a quick walk to Main Street, the waterfront, shops and restaurants, yet is is removed from a lot of the noise and congestion of downtown. Lyn was a marvelous host, from her delicious baked goods and granola, to even adding extra foam padding to the sofa bed mattress to increase comfort! My back sure appreciated that! Thanks Lyn!! She also had lots of good suggestions for activities on the island. All in all, it was a great place to stay. Our only regret was that the weekend went too fast! Would definitely stay here again.
