Really enjoyed our stay at this peaceful place.

    September 06, 2012

Village B&B was recommended by extended family who have stayed many times and I now I know why. Lovely, beautiful and quiet setting, lovely house and rooms and great breakfasts and Ms. O'Donovan was a pleasure. The other guest while we were there was a repeat guest, had some of his family coming in after he left and was going to come return in the near future so that says alot about this inn and Ms. O'Donovan. In fact I fell in love with the area while I was there. This is a quiet, pretty, comfortable and clean place and very reasonably priced and if you already aren't a breakfast person like I was, you will be if you stay here. It's a nice place to go for a walk and the general store, which has a great wine selection, is only a couple minutes away by foot.

    A Rare Gem

    May 30, 2012

This rare gem is located about 10 miles from Hingham, Ma. and a stones throw from Scituate harbor. There are three rooms (two with a king bed and one with two queens). Each room has a spacious bathroom and closet..It is located in a beautiful area...the proprietor Maureen O'Donovan is delightful..She met us at the front door and insisted on helping us with our luggage...Unlike many B & B'S she was not intrusive but made you feel at home Breakfast was anything you wanted, Maureen was very accommodaating All rooms were $125!!!! There is also a computer room...This was a winner....

    Village Bed & Breakfast

    October 20, 2008

Our party was pleased with The Village Bed and Breakfast. The rooms were clean and comfortable, breakfast good. The Innkeepers were very friendly. When compared to other locations we had stayed at over the eight days we felt that it was overpriced.
