Walker House

Walker House is a friendly, romantic inn located on three acres in the village of Lenox. Built in 1804, it has eight spacious guest rooms furnished with antiques, all with private bath, air conditioning in summer and many with fireplaces. In addition, there are porches, a large parlour and the library-cinema, which provides a 12-foot screen for viewing any of the several hundred films in the Walker House ollection. Special television events can also be enjoyed on the large screen. Breakfast is served in the dining room and many fine restaurants are available within three blocks. It has been operated as a bed and breakfast by the current owners for 23 years. Tanglewood is a little more than a mile and Shakespeare & Company just down the block. The other great cultural and recreational attractions of the Berkshires are within an easy ride.

The Chopin Room is romantic in the same way as his music. The Handel Room features a glorious canopy bed and wonderful antique soaking tub, perfect for a leisurely, relaxing bubble bath.
The inn is within three blocks of all the interesting shops and fine restaurants in the village, yet the verandah faces three acres of peaceful gardens, woods and trees The parlour is a perfect place for gathering with friends, reading in front of the fireplace or making music at the grand piano.
