This gracious canopy bed is fit for a queen--or a first lady. This bedroom is named for Edith Wilson, reputed to be the first woman to run the government. Our first "secret" president.
Named for Eleanor Roosevelt, this stately room with its four poster bed will please the most discriminating guestThe master bedroom is named for Abigail Adams, the first wife of a president to occupy the White House.
Called "The Lanai" for its many inviting porches, the Summer White House is an original Berkshire Cottage. It was constructed in 1885 for New Yorker, J. Egmont Schermerhorn. Our graceful and comfortable home is furnished with a fine collection of antiques. The library, replete with volumes on every subject, also contains a seven-foot concert grand piano making this a setting conducive to beautiful music.
Our living room, decorated in traditional style, contains a fine collection of American paintings. We invite our guests to linger in this graceful setting.Downstairs, our sun-filled breakfast room is a perfect place to start your day.
