I was able to book a room at a value price as it is off season. The innkeepers were gracious and kind. They kept the fire going as I enjoyed reading in the sitting room. Complimentary port wine was a treat. I stayed in the Eleanor Roosevelt room. The canopy bed was wonderful. The room was cozy and warm. Breakfast included eggs, pumpkin bread, fruit, coffee, tea, and delicious stuffed french toast. I am looking forward to returning soon.

Our stay at the Summer White House B & B happened to be during coldest weekend in August in Lenox. We did not expect our room to be very cold. They did not turn the heat on. But, we had plenty of blankets to keep us warm. The breakfast was mediocre. The downscale the breakfast based on occupancy. The Inn keepers are very nice and provided warm hospitality. Parking in the back can be a little tricky. Its very close to Tanglewood.

The White House was a great find! It is conveniently located and we were given many tips about hikes and events in the area. Most important the Inn was gracious as were the hosts. I would add more but no space.

A tasteful and warm Victorian home with beautiful art work. Some of it for sale. Close to Stockbridge, a great town.

I took my 17-year-old daughter to spend a couple of days here so that she could have peace and quiet as she wrote her college essays; I'm an academic and worked on a paper, available to her for moral support and dialogue when she needed it. It was perfect! We felt well-taken-of, the room was cozy and conducive to contemplation and writing (for both of us!), the breakfasts were excellent. My daughter finished her essays, I made significant progress on the paper, and we headed back to Boston feeling a sense of accomplishment, connection (to each other), and well-being.

The room was very spacious with a large closet, desk, sofa, chair and canopy bed. Had an ample chest of drawers too. Very quiet, shaded garden in back was perfect for reading. The owner Frank and his proprietor Melissa could not have been more charming. They saw to our every need, and Frank entertained us each morning with his delightful stories. Classical music was always playing during breakfast. Right across the street from the Lenox Library, within easy walking distance of everything in town. Would definitely stay there again.

Perfect place for those who treasure bed and breakfast experiences. Excellent location and fair prices for the area. Gracious and interesting host.
Lovely Mrs. Kennedy would have appreciated the feeling of this large corner room which features its own private dressing room and separate bath with its interesting tub making it great for two unrelated travelers.
Wilsons Deputy after his stroke, Mrs. Wilsons room is large and full of charm. A four poster bed, sofa, and desk make this a great away from home work space.
The first lady to occupy the White House, this bright and cheerful master bedroom will please the most discriminating guest. The bath includes the tub on legs, a reminder of the homes past.
Perhaps our most active first lady, this room is finished with a custom made queen canopy bed, Roosevelt memorabilia, sofa bed (if needed), and lots of charm in a large space with a quiet location.
A true helpmate to her husband, Mrs. Reagans room is supplied with numerous presidential biographies, a balcony in the summer, and an American made four posted canopy bed in pretty peach color.
Flowers and frills identify quiet corner room Mamie would have loved, even a peek of the rear garden. Queen bed with private bathroom.
