Inn Details
The Rookwood Inn is a lovingly restored Victorian bed and breakfast in the Berkshires. The guestrooms (king, queen, twins) have private baths and are individually decorated with antiques and modern amenities. Some rooms have private porches, canopy or four-poster beds, sitting areas and fireplaces. The Inn's location is peaceful and secluded, yet only a block from the town center and walking distance to shops, restaurants and Tanglewood. The public rooms, veranda, porches, gardens and lawns are for guests' enjoyment. The parlor is filled with music from the stereo or visiting musicians. Breakfast,delicious and healthy, is served in the dining room. Afternoon refreshments, with seasonal beverages and fresh baked goods provide an opportunity for conversation and relaxation. We're available to help plan activities, arrange for tickets and assist with dinner reservations.

A delectable and hearty feast for the eyes and mouth, blending egg substitute, baked corn chips, and Mexican herbs and spices; prior to presentation, it is topped with sauteed mushrooms, sweet onion, and roasted red peppers, then reduced fat cheddar cheese and quickly broiled; it is served, piping hot, with accompaniments of chorizo (mildly spicy Mexican sausage), salsa, corn bread, and fresh seaonal fruits.

- Smoking is allowed outside only (Ashtrays are available for use outside on the grounds.)
- Limited accommodations for guest pets (We accept dogs under 45 pounds in two of our 1st floor rooms)
- Children are welcome (We welcome well behaved and supervised children of all ages.)
- Limitations on childcare (May be available by advance arrangements.)
- Consumption of alcohol is permitted (Bring your own)
- Deposit amount required (Advance deposit equal to the greater of 50% of stay or one night)
- Check in time is 3 - 10 pm and Check out time is 11am
- Cancellations:
There will be a 5% fee for reservations cancelled or changed up to 14 days before scheduled arrival (21 days during the summer or holidays). With less notice (including late arrival or early departures), guests are charged the full room charges. The Inn is a perfect backdrop to display her antiques, her collections of Wallace Nutting prints and vintage handbags. Amy is the immediate past Pres of the Lenox Chamber of Commerce, and serves of the boards of the Jewish Federation of the Berkshires and Hevreh of Southern Berkshires.
