The Governor Bradford room has a fireplace, bed-warmer, and antique doors with their H-and-L hinges date from Colonial times.Snuggle up to the fireplace in the Governor Bradford Room.
This pleasant room originally overlooked the meadow of a dairy farm, but today overlooks a cedar forest with walking trails. The Meadow Room features comfortable twin beds and an en suite bathroom. The Jones River, a tidal river named after Christopher Jones, Captain of the Mayflower, and has a view of the Jones River. There is a private bath a step down the hall, with a tub as well as a separate shower.
Plan your day-trip to Cape Cod, Nantucket, Martha's Vineyard, New Bedford, Newport or Boston while you enjoy breakfast in the dining room. The sunny dining room is the perfect place to join other guests for a delicious continental breakfast. You can converse with your hosts and fellow travelers about historic Plymouth (“America’s Home Town”) just minutes away.
In colonial times, the Great Room served as the all-in-one kitchen, eating and living room. Today it is a comfortable sitting room furnished with rare antiques some from pre-revolutionary times. Notice the ceiling beams, fireplace baking oven, and an Eli Terry clock. Today, the sitting room is comfortably furnished with rare antiques some from pre-revolutionary times.
The Sitting room is a great place to relax, to read, meet and chat with other guests or view cable TV. Coffee-table books and literature provide ideas for your next-day activities.
