Captain Tom Lawrence House Bed and Breakfast Inn

  • Inn Details

Nestled back from the street, the Capt. Tom Lawrence House is an intimate inn for those who appreciate fine accommodations and warm hospitality in a beautiful and historic setting. The house, with it's circular stairwell, hardwood floors, and high ceilings, remains much as it was when Captain Tom Lawrence lived here over a century ago. We invite you to stay in this congenial home which blends New England tradition with continental hospitality and where every effort is made to make the guests feel welcome. You will want to return again and again to this peaceful hideaway. Relax in one of the spacious corner guest rooms, all with private baths, carefully decorated in soft colors and designer linens, and furnished with a variety of antiques. The rooms reflect the warmth and charm of an elegant private home. Snuggle into a high four-poster queen size canopy bed or stay in the Captain's room with its lace coronet canopy above the king size bed. Whatever the occasion, be it a honeymoon, anniversary, or a weekend get-away, we have the appropriate room for you. Honeymooners, small families or anyone who is looking for total peace and privacy have the option of staying in our completely remodeled apartment. This apartment comes fully furnished with kitchenette, central air conditioning, one queen and two twin-size beds.

Jim and Anne were the perfect hosts. Very helpful with places to visit and the breakfasts were fantastic. The house was very clean and welcoming and only a few minutes walk from the main street of Falmouth with plenty of restuarants and shops etc. Would thoroughly recommend Captain Lawrence House.

The inn is lovely and a great location but, I was disappointed in my room - very small with a bathroom that you could barely stand in. The innkeepers were not around except for breakfast.

A lovely B&B with wonderful hosts who provided lots of great information and delicious breakfasts and snacks. The rooms were a good enough size and we really enjoyed our stay.
