Bullfinch House is a perfect solution for those who don't really like staying in bed and breakfasts! You get a very comfortable bed, a pleasant breakfast, but also your own front door, sitting room and kitchen so you can do as you please without bothering your host. Not that anything would be too much bother for Rhoda who is a friendly and helpful host. The location in East Cambridge was very easy with a car, and Rhoda can supply a permit for the plentiful parking. Very good value and restaurants nearby if you need them. A friend recommended Evoo but the cooked dinner for me herself so we never tried it out.

    We'll keep coming back!

My husband and I enjoyed our second stay at Bullfinch House. Rhoda is very accomodating, yet not intrusive, and has done a great job designing & furnishing the apartment - it's definitely not a stodgy, lacy B&B! LOVE the exposed brick walls and courtyard. The location is terrific for exploring Boston & Cambridge - we ditched the rental car and took to the streets. There's an overabundance of great restaurants & shops within walking distance and very accessible & inexpensive public transportation if your feet need a break.

Spent 3 nights in this charming, renovated apartment. The location is excellent; the owners were helpful and friendly and the apartment was comfortable and tastefully renovated. The approach of having a kitchen that was pre-stocked with breakfast supplies suited me perfectly.Would return with great pleasure.

My husband and I just came back from a trip to Massachusetts which was topped off by a wonderful five night stay at Bullfinch House. We felt as though we were living in Cambridge again where each of us lived many years ago. The apartment is in a block of beautifully restored 19th century brick row houses. The location is dynamite for visiting both Cambridge and Boston due to the access to public transportation and the walkability of both those cities. The fully-equipped kitchen allows one to buy groceries from nearby stores and cook in. We loved walking to places from the apartment, including the MIT campus and the Museum of Science. We can hardly wait to return to the Bullfinch House!
