Captain Freeman Inn
Located in historic Brewster on Cape Cod, the Inn has been lovingly restored highlighting the original hardwood floors, marble fireplaces and intricate carved plaster ceilings. Guest rooms have high ceilings, floor to ceiling windows, canopy beds and are decorated in period antiques and reproductions. Some rooms have fireplaces, private spas and all rooms have A/C. Full gourmet breakfast and afternoon refreshments are served poolside on the wraparound porch or fireside in the dining room or Parlor. It is a short stroll down a country lane to beautiful Breakwater Beach on Cape Cod Bay. Bicycles are provided at no charge, and the bike trails are pristine paved off road paths through woods and around the many fresh water ponds on the Cape. Beach and pool towels are provided for guest use. Donna and Pete love to talk about the Inn and the Cape and are full of great ideas for things to do and see. Some examples are summer stock and year round repertory theatres, golf, tennis, sailing, game fishing, wind surfing, antiquing, art and natural history museums, band concerts, auctions, first class restaurants, over 40 miles of national seashore beaches and wildlife santuaries, world renowned whale watching, bird watching, seal watching and other natural pursuits. Special winter cooking school weekends include class, wine tasting and dinner party.
