Fantastic location - a great selection of restaurants and bars in the area and central to most attractions in Boston. Staff was friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend and will stay there again if in Boston.

From the moment we walked into the Charles Street Inn, we were treated like we were the only focus of the Inn keeper's attention. The Inn was beautifully maintained with all of the little extras you might hope for but not expect. A full, complementary breakfast is served in your room each morning and they include the newspaper of your choice. We had a gorgeous spa bath in our room and our king sized bed was more comfy than our bed at home. The Inn has a romantic Victorian feel and it's right in the middle of everything; walking distance to the best of Beacon Hill. If you are looking to spoil yourself and someone you love, this is the place to do it!

I would def recommend the Charles Street Inn to everyone and say if you are in Boston it's a 'must' to stay there. We were amazed with how beautifully decorated and comfortable the Charles St Inn was the staff made you feel right at home always 100% welcoming and exceeded all expectations This was best Xmas ever.

If you want to feel like you are a Beacon Hill resident (and who wouldn't want to be a Beacon Hill resident), this place is a must stay. Accommodating innkeepers, cozy rooms, close to subway and the in room breakfast is a wonder B&B twist that lets you enjoy your room all the more. Only caveat is that if you get a room on the street there is just enough street noise to give you that city feel, but there are no buses and it is quiet by 9:00 pm. Next time we are in Boston, we will stay there again.

My wife and I have stayed in B & B's all over the country and the Charles St Inn was a huge disappointment. My wife has food allergies and asked for something as simple as oatmeal and was told "we have 9 rooms and do not have time to accommodate any such request". We ate breakfast in a local restaurant for 6 days. Parking was nothing short of a joke, they have what they call 2 spaces behind the inn which will only accommodate 2 small cars, we parked 2 1/2 blocks away in a parking garage at $30.00 per night. The room was ok, but we have stayed in much better for $325.00 per night and they did not have roaches.
