Acworth Inn

This was a very welcoming B&B, with fresh cookies, coffee and tea on arrival. The room was spacious with own bathroom. Breakfast was cooked fresh. Location on the Cape made it easy to get to anywhere.

The host of this inn truley lover her work. The smallest detail from matched lamp shades to matching night light covers was well concived. I will stay there again and suggest thise who haven't try it. You won't be disappointed!

Staying at the Acworth Inn was like coming home for the week-end after being away at college or coming to visit a long lost aunt or other close relative or friend. Lisa's warm and welcoming presence and attentiveness to her guests and their specific needs and expectations for their stay are what made this B&B experience so special. We felt so relaxed...like everything was under control, timed just right, beautifully done to the smallest detail. The room was just what we expected and more....soft bathrobes and towels, lots of "just right" pillows, comfortable bed, hot shower, perfect room temperature, etc.... Lisa even had a complimentary bottle of chilled champagne (and glasses) waiting for us as she had heard me say that we were celebrating our 20th wedding anniversary! Between the champagne, chocolates, bottled water, and log for the fire, no detail was left forgotten. And the attention to detail continued at breakfast: coffee first thing in a warmed mug and a wonderful and very complete breakfast awaited us each morning....the aroma of muffins baking in the oven...the warmed coffee mugs...fresh berries and the orange juice served in chilled glasses....each aspect perfected in presentation, serving temperature and taste - everything was yummy. And with such a complete breakfast including eggs benedict, we had no need of lunch...a couple of small snacks were plenty to sustain us until dinner. Our stay at Acworth was just what we needed for our getaway anniversary week-end. I will never forget it. And as we told Lisa on our way out, we would recommend the Acworth Inn to anyone looking for such a wonderful stay. Sincerely, Tim and Chris Neal

This was my second stay at the Acworth Inn, and each time the stay was extremely comfortable. The breakfast included a choice of items and the meals I have had were very good. The meal started with coffee cake, followed by fresh berries, and then the entree. I left fully satisfied by the quality and quantity. The attendant was very helpful and courteous, as was the host when we arrived in the late afternoon. The room was beautiful and comfortable.

We always enjoy our stays at Acworth and love visiting with Lisa and meeting her sister & Chris.

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our two-night stay at the Acworth. The food and the service were top-notch. I enjoyed coffee in the yard each morning before breakfast. Breakfast was amazing, complete with muffins/bread, fresh fruit, and a scrumptious entree (two to choose from, or have a little of both). I thought the little "extras" were wonderful: bottled water, chocolates, a small refrigerator and wine glasses in the room. Lisa was a wealth of knowledge and extremely accommodating, making gluten-free muffins for me and allowing us to borrow towels for our trip to the beach. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to our friends.

Acworth B&B is a wonderful place to stay. Lisa made us feel right at home. She helped us plan our day activities and even made good suggestions. Lisa made our 25th Wedding Anniversary most memorable. Her three course breakfasts were delicious. I would recommend Acworth Inn to all my family and friends for "the place to stay while visiting cape cod."

Would highly recommend this b&b in terms of location, service and food. lisa made outstanding breakfasts every morning as we sat outside and enjoyed the beautiful weather and coffee. she and was a wealth of informtion regarding what to do and where to go while visiting cape cod. our entire stay exceeded our expectations and i would be happy to recommend this b&b to anyone looking for a relaxing stay. we hope to get back soon!

Breakfast was phenomenal. Lisa went out of her way to make sure to accommodate any requests, which is such a treat as I am a vegetarian. We felt very comfortable and and at home! Very relaxing! Would most definitely return and/or recommend this to others!

Acworth Inn was a lovely week-end get away for us. Our room was clean and comfortable, including a private bath and queen size bed with 100% cotton bedding. The Inn was fully booked the week-end we were there and yet we didn't hear any noise from the other rooms or areas of the Inn. The noise we did hear was the street traffic which during the later afternoon hours was a bit loud but not an issue later in the evening. The small details like a refrigerator in the room, along with corkscrew, wine & champagne glasses and chocolates were such a nice touch. The breakfasts were delicious each morning including fresh fruit and never ending coffee. In addition to being warm and welcoming Lisa was extremely helpful and gave us great advice on places to eat and things to do. We would absolutely stay at the Acworth Inn again and look forward to our next visit.

We stayed for 3 nights mid August. Everything was just perfect! Rooms neat and clean with attention to detail. Food/breakfast was delicious! Great variety Lisa is an excellent cook! Lisa was extremely helpful as she is very knowlegeable about the Cape and surrounding regions...she helped us plan our days on the Cape by offering suggestions and options based on the weather and our time contraints. I gave Lisa and the Acworth Inn an Outstanding in all catagories without hesitation.

Lisa, the proprietor, was terrific. We had a lovely stay and only wished we had more time to stay longer. Clean rooms, great sight seeing advice, friendly, and a nice breakfast. Highly recommend.

Everything was great. Possibly my only gripe was that the bathroom for our room (Hydrangea) was a bit on the cramped side, and that the room had a window AC unit that was turned off during the daytime, which made the room just a tad warmer than we would have liked, given that the outside temperature was hitting 95 to 100. Otherwise, excellent food (get the pancakes, you won't regret it), and Lisa is just super nice, helpful, and accommodating. Specifically, when we did our day trip to Nantucket, she was kind enough to pack us breakfast in a to-go bag so that we wouldn't be hungry on the ferry! Outstanding.

Lisa is a great hostess! Lovely rooms and the breakfast was fresh, and delicious! You have to stop here if visiting the Cape!

We loved our stay at the Acworth Inn. Lisa, the proprietor, was so friendly and helpful and she made delicious breakfasts! The room was beautiful, the back yard relaxing, and the location of the inn is excellent, being in the middle of Cape Cod. We would certainly stay here again. It is highly recommended!

The people were very friendly and helpful with suggestions for visiting key areas of the cape. The food was also excellent. I would recommend this place to anyone.

We enjoyed a very pleasant stay at Acworth. Because it was early in the week and before school was out we were the only guests. Service and the breakfasts were outstanding. Quiet environment in the heart of Old Cape Cod, not the commercialized side. Lisa, the inn keeper, has an excellent grasp on local history, antique shops and restaurants. We felt very much at home.

I would recommend staying here at any time. Lisa is one of the most friendly and helpful people and nothing was too much bother. If you are looking for somewhere you can use to relax and enjoy the Cape then look no further.

It was great. Lisa, her daughter, and their dog were wonderful. Food was delicious. Exactly what we needed. I would definitely recommend the place if you're needing a break.

Lisa, the innkeeper, is an amazing hostess! My wife and I stayed at the Acworht Inn for our honeymoon last year and we had a fantastic time therefore we decided to return for our anniversary. It is a charming inn that is ideal for peace and relaxation. Furthermore, Hyannis is only about 10 miles away and Lisa is very helpful regarding other places to visit on the Cape. It's like home away from home. We had freshly cooked breakfast everyday with pure juices. Tea and coffee was available all day. Breakfast came with an appetizer and an entree. We had an orange muffin and a grilled pineapple for our appetizers, followed by an egg casserole and stuffed French toast made with croissant for our entrees. Lisa is considerate and very hospitable. Additionally, she takes a genuine interest in her guests. We are looking forward to going back!

The ambiance and the food amazing .... Lisa was very helpful in helping me find my way around and back to the Inn!!! Meeting other guests from around the world made for extraordinary conversations that I will always treasure.

Our host was very welcoming and very helpful with suggestions on places to see and places to eat. The breakfast was very good. We stayed in the Bayberry room. The room was nicely decorated, the bed was very comfortable. The only thing I thought could have been better was the shower, it was very small. I did notice the bigger rooms had a full tub and shower. I would definitely go back.

The room was comfortable, beautifully decorated, and sparkling clean. Lisa, the owner, was warm, welcoming, and extremely helpful. We had not been to Cape Cod before and had plenty of questions for her. We appreciated her expertise and guidance! Lisa served a breakfast that was outstanding. The Eggs Benedict and crepes with peach sauce she made were to die for! If you stay here, you will not be disappointed!

It is a beautiful inn and Lisa, the owner, is very kind and helpful. Delicious breakfasts. This only thing is that it can be noisy: make sure you choose a room that faces the backyard and not the route 6A.

We were made to feel at home from the minute we walked through the door. The innkeeper, Lisa, could not have been nicer, and the breakfasts were fantastic. My only complaint was that the shower in our room was extremely small, but otherwise the room was comfortable and nicely furnished. This is by far the best place I have stayed on the cape.

This is one of the best B&B's in the area. Homemade breakfast and cozy accomodations. The innkeeper, Lisa Callahan, is a joy. She gives her guests good info on things to see and do. Wonderful trip!

Lisa's warm welcome set the stage for a wonderful trip to the Cape over Columbus Day! Our room was just lovely and so clean! The highlight is her wonderful baking and cooking. We looked forward to each three-course breakfast! A return is definitely in order, and we have recommended Acworth Inn to our friends and family!!

This b&b is full of charm, hospitality, and beautiful gardens. It felt like an oasis to us. There were no details left unfinished. The breakfasts are superb with your choice of breakfast entree. I can't say enough about how helpful Lisa, the owner/innkeeper is about giving recomendations for places to eat/go/see /do. After staying here we felt refreshed. We look forward to staying here again!

Lisa and her daughter made us feel like a part of their family. We had a wonderful time, delicious breakfasts and large, charming, beautifully decorated room (the Wilson Ryder Suite). Great choice for parents with a couple of mature preteens/ teens.

Stayed at the Acworth Inn for 3 nights. Lisa is very friendly, hospitable and made us feel most welcome. The house captures what one would expect in terms of cape cod charm. Her 3 course breakfast are a real treat. Enjoyed our stay and would certainly recommend the Acworth Inn to friends.

We have stayed 2 years at the Acworth Inn - in January! Lisa is an outstanding hostess. Her cooking is wonderful and we are waiting for that cookbook! The rooms are very clean, the inn is a wonderful home and each room is very unique. A real treat..Can't wait to go back again...

Fantastic, great service. A wonderful lady, Lisa Cllahan, who runs it. Felt very much at home, felt like we were spending time in our own living room. Her cooking was fantastic, plenty. Would go back again anytime. Very good atmosphere.
