    We welcome you to The Birches located near Amherst, Smith, Hampshire and Mt. Holyoke Colleges and the University of Massachusetts.....a perfect place to stay while visiting the colleges, attending a conference or visitng friends. We offer two accomodations: The Robert Frost Room with queen bed,and the Emily Dickinson Room with twin beds. We are a small intimate setting, and often join our guests for breakfast where good conversation and friendships flourish.

    The hosts are most gracious and the Inn is charming. very comfortable and safe atmosphere. highly recommend it.

    Was surprise to find a typical split level home. The room was small but well kept. We had to change arrival times several times and the innkeeper was quite accommodating. Both innkeepers were very pleasant and quite enjoyable company.

    Great location, great home, friendly and delightful hosts. A gem in South Amherst.

    Hard to get there during night time, the best thing is to take a cab or bus nr 32.

    Everything at the Birches B&B was as advertised and my overnight stay was pleasant and comfortable. Breakfast was superb and I will definitely stay here again.
