Inn Details
Gramercy, a majestic Tudor style mansion and estate, situated on 45 acres in Maryland's Greenspring Valley, provides elegant hospitality. Guests enjoy the Olympic size pool, tennis court, extensive woodland trails, Honeybrook Stream, a working organic farm, and classic flower gardens. In addition to five spacious public rooms with fireplaces, the mansion offers antiques, oriental carpets, artwork, high ceilings, a stunning grand staircase, chandeliers and a serene outdoor terrace. Railroad magnate, Alexander Cassatt, brother of Impressionist painter Mary Cassatt, presented this historic house as a wedding present to his daughter. Later occupants included the Brewster family, descendants of Benjamin Franklin, and the Koinonia Foundation, a predecessor of the Peace Corps. The Carriage House and Gramercy Mansion are also available for weddings, meetings, seminars and parties. Located 20 minutes from the Inner Harbor and Oriole Park, Gramercy provides easy access to museums, historic sites, theater and fine restaurants. We are members of the Maryland Bed & Breakfast Association (MBBA).
