The history and quaint decor of this B&B is it's biggest strength. There are new discoveries in each room. Cost reading room with a fireplace. Breakfast was light and delicious. Look forward to visiting again.

We are not really B&B type people. We chose the Wayside as a quick get-away. It was wonderful and charming. Very comfortable, and accommodating. Our hosts were pleasant and gracious.

Our enjoyment of the B&B was exceedingly enhanced by the wonderful breakfasts prepared by the innkeeper. Scrumptious meals greeted us each morning. One disappointment we noted was either our error in reading the room descriptions or the omittance on website room overview was that each room required climbing stairs. All rooms were in one of three places - basement, second floor or third floor. An advance notation might have effluenced our decision to choose this location.
This ground level room, which is contained in a new addition attached to the original Inn, has its own private entrance from a private terrace. When the weather is nice, enjoy the terrace overlooking the gardens and pond, enjoy a glass of wine and an afternoon snack (provided by your innkeeper upon request) or just sit and enjoy a good book from our library. The room has a Queen sized bed which faces a gas fireplace and a large Hi Def flat screen TV. The ensuite Bathroom has a huge air jetted tub for two (one of the largest made), and a separate shower with an overhead rainforest shower head and three body jets. The Terrace Room is perfect for Wedding Nights as well as for guests who may not want to walk up the flights of stairs to the rooms in the original Inn. It also has a private staircase leading up into our beautiful new, all season sun porch.
Romantic suite with a sitting room with a private bath in the room (with a claw foot tub and shower). The sitting room has a small settee, a desk, a rocking chair and a dormer window looking out on the gardens in the back yard.
Our family suite. Has a queen size bed, a large sitting room with a full size sofa. Private bath Is in the hall a few steps away from the room. It has a tub/shower combination.
2 Room Luxury suite with queen sized bed, a sitting room and an all new bath with a Luxurious shower. Both Sitting room and Bedroom have a wood burning fireplace. Sitting room has a sofa and chairs and a Bose Radio/CD Player. Bedroom has a Plasma TV over the fireplace

Grand Marnier Fench Toast
A delicious breakfast dish with hand sliced egg challah bread which has been soaked in a mixture of eggs, cream, and orange liqueur. It is served piping hot with an Orange Rum Sauce to pour over the top. We usually accompany this with a smoked chicken and apple sausage. A guest favorite at the Wayside Inn!
