You will have unlimited use of a two person kayak and canoe to explore the wildlife that abounds in the quiet coves.Your table is set and your fresh fruit, pastries, cereal, coffee, milk, orange juice is waiting in the kitchenette for you to serve yourself privately at any time you want. Privacy is yours.
The coves are rich with wildlife from blue heron, Osprey to swan in the summer and canada geese in the fall and winter. An occasional bald eagle sometimes pays a visit.A massage by the pool or on the dock is delightful, just let us know and we will set it up for you.
All of our guests rave about our "basket swing" hanging from our 50 foot oak tree near the water. We are 10 minutes to St. Michaels with many attractions, restaurants, shops boat tours and Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum.
We are 5 minutes from downtown Easton with shopping, galleries, restaurants, the historic Avalon Theater and Academy of the Arts. One of the more frequent entries to our guest book is the experience our visitors have on the HM Krentz, one of a hand-full of historic Skipjacks still working the Chesapeake Bay. Captain Ed Farley will give you a history and aquatic education including harvesting oysters during a sunset tour of the Miles River.
Miles River Guest House second bedroom is small. It also has a private bath, and full size bed with a great view of the water. It comes in handy for additional family.
