Experience the exotic surroundings of our Asian Suite during your next Maryland vacation. The Asian Suite is located at the top of the stairs on the second floor. Upon entering the suite, the sitting room is to the left of a short hallway and the bedroom is to the right. Decorated with Asian rosewood furnishings from the orient, this suite provides a true feeling of the Far East. Adding to the ambience of the bedroom is a gas fireplace & bamboo canopy bed. The bathroom features the home's original subway tile, steam shower and air jet tub for scintillating relaxation.
This luxurious suite is a favorite for honeymoon stays. It is located on the second floor of the Inn and encompasses the entire front of the building. It is bathed in light from bay windows in the bedroom and sitting room. You enter the suite through a charming foyer. To the left is the bedroom. The sitting room is to the right of the foyer. The entire suite is decorated in comfortable English garden style. The king-sized bed faces a huge bay window with window seat. The bathroom is luxurious with a steam shower and traditional fixtures; the air jet tub sits under a wall of windows.
The French Suite is located on the first floor of the Inn. The light-filled sitting room has two walls of original windows framed by beautiful blue toile drapes. The decorating clearly reflects a keen sense that you are in a five-star French Chateau. As you turn to the right the pocket doors open onto the bedroom with a white provincial king sized bed and decor that truly provides a feeling of luxury. The bathroom carries the theme of the suite and provides you with a steam shower, air jet tub and gold cherub fixtures for luxurious bathing, the perfect way to wind down.

We had an early May weekend getaway at the Inn at 202 Dover and it was fantastic. We were 2 nights in the Asian Suite. The room was so large and luxurious it was wonderful to come back to after a 30 mile bike ride. We definitely took advantage of the steam shower. The room also had a jet tub, although we did not avail ourselves of that luxury. The Peacock restaurant in the Inn is also delightful. We will definitely be back again.

We checked in on 1/31/14 for a 2 night stay at the Inn. This Inn was on my “wish list” of Bed and Breakfasts that I would like to stay and when I saw the Living Social email offering 2 nights stays I jumped on it. We stayed in the Safari Suite and sweet it was. Sometimes themed rooms are a bit over the top – BUT not there. The room was stunning and I have been to many B&Bs in the Atlantic coast region in the last few years and I choose my descriptions very carefully. The attention to details was amazing. You have to check out the door hinges (unbelievable). The bathroom is huge with a bubbler tub and steam shower. The large bedroom had a gas fireplace and a very comfortable mattress. It had a sitting room with a desk and chair and large couch to watch the TV which was hidden in the built-ins but who had time for TV when there are so many wonder things to do and places to see in Easton. Our hosts, Shelby and Ron were gracious and informative. The Inn is in walking distance of the town center and we never drove our car while there. We loved our stay.

My husband and I stayed here for the weekend to celebrate my husband's birthday. We could not have picked a better place. The minute you walk in, even surrounded by all the elegance, you are made to feel at home. We did not get in until later than anticipated and were greeted with a smile and told to relax and come down for dinner when we were ready. The dinner at the Peacock Restaraunt (in the B&B) was one of the best, if not the best, gourmet meal we have had. The room (the Asian room) was beautifully decorated and the bed was extremely comfortable. Everything was spotless. The breakfasts were Ah-mazing! The owners Ron and Shelby were kind, accessible, and down to earth. If you wanted information they would be happy to give it, yet were not intrusive by telling us what we should or should not do. We were so tired the first day that we spent most of it napping and felt completely comfortable doing so. We have stayed at other Inns in the past where the owners were very insistent as to their recommendations. Not so at the Inn at 202 Dover. The building itself is breathtaking..... Just stay here. There is no other place in Easton that could possibly compare. It is worth it, to say the least!

This was our first time to Inn at Dover and what a fantastic time we had. I am very picky when it comes to lodging for travel and also when it comes to eating. Inn at Dover far exceeded what I expected to find in the quiet quaint town of Easton. We have made reservations for august -another birthday to celebrate and not to mention new year's eve. Ron and Shelby were gracious hosts, we felt right at home.

Ron and Shelby's attention to detail and passion for what they are doing is evident at every turn. We were immediately made to feel welcome and very much at home. Unbelievable suite, beautiful common areas- especially the dining rooms. Ron's breakfast was thoughtfully prepared and a real treat. Chef's dinner was world class-with a first rate wine and vodka program. What originally started out as a quick overnight trip to Easton, for a concert at the Avalon Theater, turned into a magical weekend that my wife and I will not soon forget. Three weeks later we still smile when we talk of our stay. Thanks for everything Ron and Shelby- the impression you made on us personally was every bit as memorable as your lovingly restored grand dame.

My husband and I have stayed at quite a few inns, but none were as elegant and inviting as the Inn at 202 Dover. The Inn is a meticulously restored masterpiece. From the moment we arrived, Innkeepers Ron and Shelby made us feel welcome and special. We ate at the Peacock Restaurant the first night; the meal was outstanding, one of the best we have ever had. My husband is a fussy eater, but he raved about the dinner. Ron's gourmet breakfasts are .amazing, light and refreshing, always delicious. We loved our stay and, without a doubt, we will go back again!

My wife and I were delighted to stay at the Inn for a long weekend to celebrate the upcoming birth of our first child. We found a place at Ron and Shelby's Inn, perfect for not only our needs but also our wants. They and the staff were warm and friendly, but never intrusive. We stayed in the English Suite, which is more spacious and comfortable than needed, though not more so than desired. If you enjoy the finer details of early artisan woodcraft, you'll be inspired by the detail and care given to restoring the present-day Inn. More than that, though, the food and preparation were simply outstanding. We enjoyed breakfast at the Inn (included in the nightly rate), and we also enjoyed dinner in the Inn's restaurant (Peacock). The food was delicious!!! Thank you for such a wonderful experience.

We just spent a fantastic weekend at the Inn at 202 Dover. We stayed in the English Suite and had dinner at The Peacock Restaurant during our stay. The accommodations are beautiful and immaculate, and the food was spectacular. The proprietors were personable and interesting, and full of great suggestions to help us maximize our stay. We can't wait to go back!

From the minute we walked into Inn at 202 Dover, we knew that it was something special. We were warmly welcomed by Ron and Shelby and given a short history of the place. Our stay (weekend of Feb. 17th-19th, 2012) couldn't have been better. Everything was impeccable! We chose to stay in the Victorian Bedroom since it was a great value. It was beautifully decorated, comfortable and had a jetted tub. The service was outstanding! Even though we spent a weekend, we did not discover all the of the lovely things displayed in the nooks and crannies of the Inn. I am sure that we will return to enjoy another of Ron's delicious breakfasts and another special dinner at the Peacock restaurant. After a day of sightseeing, it was wonderful to walk just a few steps and enjoy a gourmet dinner. Often an Inn's website is much better than the actual Inn. Not with Inn at 202 Dover...it is a gem!

This place is a jewel. Celebrated a milestone birthday in this gorgeously restored Victorian. Safari suite was wonderful, themed but not over the top. Really comfy bed, jacuzzi tub and steam shower. Breakfasts were simple and tasty, fresh fruit followed by a french toast or quiche, with plentiful, hot drinks. Peacock Restaurant served one of the best meals we've had in a long time. The owners are nice, friendly, knowledgeable, happy to sit and chat or to leave you to yourselves, as you wish. They are recent transplants to Easton but are involved in community life of the town and are great sources of information. The little extras really made it special --beautiful flowers in the room, chocolate chip cookies one day, chocolate covered strawberries, bottle of very nice Prosecco. All the details were superb. They also arranged an in room massage for us both --best massage I've had in a while, which was a lovely surprise. Wishing the owners much success and can't wait to go back.
