What an enchanting experience my husband and I enjoyed when we visited “My Fair Lady” located in Crisfield, MD. This beautifully decorated Victorian home reflected the warmth and charm of its owner, Troella. From the time we entered the bed & breakfast, till the time we left, Troella, made sure she left no stone unturned in ensuring our stay was most comfortable and memorable. The delectable breakfast she lovingly prepared was indeed second to none, and she was extremely resourceful in recommending local places for us to visit while we were in town. It’s amazing how Troella has such a gift for treating her guests like royalty and making them feel like family at the same time! In fact, we had such a wonderful experience at “My Fair Lady” that we returned within a month of our first visit to stay a second time. If you’re staying overnight in the Crisfield area, you’ll definitely want to treat yourself & reserve a room at “My Fair Lady.”

Troella, the Innkeeper of My Fair Lady, blurs the lines between heaven and earth. I stayed at the Inn with my two girlfriends for a two-night stay. We stayed in the 1,000 square foot attic room, which was perfect for us. I only wish we had time to play some cards at the table in the tower room. I was most impressed with how clean this Victorian home was! I owned and cleaned an old home and I know how hard it is to keep. This place was immaculate. I need to return to investigate all the lovely collections and paintings. the rooms were tastefully decorated with amazing antiques. Our host treated us like queens. The breakfast was the best I had ever had. The baking was all done with gluten-free flours and tasty as well! We spent the day on Assateague Island at the beach. We saw some ponies! Then we took a ferry to the Red Roost and had a dinner that the Chesapeake Bay is famous for. I will miss Lucky, the cat.

My Fair Lady is the fairest of the fair in Crisfield, MD. The home is delightfully furnished with antiques but has a homey feel and provides guests with quiet comfort and delicious food. It is located in the center of this charming fishing village on a very quiet Main street. The host recommended places for supper and shared lots of information on the history of the community. The care, comfort and food was spot on. I recommend the experience to everyone.

Over the July 4th weekend, I decided to retreat from the DC area and stay at My Fair Lady Bread and Breakfast in Crisfield, MD. Upon arriving on July 3rd, I first noticed the B&B’s outside colors, which are blue and white, and reminded me of the national flag of Greece. At the entrance, the B&B owner, Troella Tyznik, warmly greeted me. The facilities's cleanliness, attention to detail, alacrity in service, and hospitality are among the best I have ever experienced. This early 20th Century B&B welcomed me with a clean wood room with an attached bathroom, clean air, plenty of natural light, and a pleasant temperature. Amenities included a serene room with an attached bathroom encapsulated in wood. After a nap came a summons for lunch (Friday). Lunch on Friday featured filet mignon, accompanied with an assortment of vegetable salads and potatoes organically grown from Troella's garden. Vegetables included: Troella’ sweet corn on the cob, sweet potatoes with cinnamon and touch of turmeric, cayenne peppers, salads with red tomatoes, and cilantro. Various breads (including Greek bread) were hand baked and complimented the lunch selection. Saturday morning all-organic breakfast consisted of fresh squeezed lemonade, turkey and chicken sausage, all-organic vegetable stew, hand rolled buttered and toasted bread, sweet potato muffins, complex glucose-free waffles with 21 different ingredients, which created a feeling of movement on my palate. They are simply the best waffles I have ever had. The organic tomatoes were served with distinct olives stuffed with almonds marinated in garlic. The time arrived for me to depart. Overall, I found the experience replenishing and I felt the smiles returning to my spirit. I rate my experience above 5 stars. I encourage any one who wants to retreat from DC to restore your vitality and go for a stay at My Fair Lady B & B.

Troella Tyznik is a wonderful hostess of a magnificently restored victorian home. The woodwork in this home is simply breathtaking! The home is indeed a diamond in the town of Crisfield. The town has suffered the from the market collapse, but there is still many fun and tasty things to do. First stay the night here, take a cruise to Tangier Island or Smith Island or both. Head back to the cozy world at My Fair Lady for happy hour on the front porch and then set out to the Chesapeak House to enjoy the best seafood while sitting on the edge of the Bay. Waking up to the tangy aromas of breakfast being prepared you can make your way down to the dining room, grab a cup of coffee and head on out to the front porch to watch the day break while Troella gets a feast on the table.

I was traveling to Crisfield with a friend and my two children on a weekend business trip and needed a place to stay. Someone recommended My Fair Lady, and we are so glad they did! For starters, Troella is such a joy! She greeted us at the door with a big smile and lots of hugs and made us feel welcome as soon as we walked through the door. The house is impeccably decorated with antiques and is in pristine condition. The rooms were beautiful and the beds were very comfortable. Everything about the place was wonderful. After getting settled, Troella gave us a list of things to do in the area to enjoy a break from our business affairs and to make sure that the children enjoyed themselves as well. She did not disappoint us at all. The children rave about breakfast! The homemade waffles that she served with the full breakfast (complete with freshly squeezed orange juice, coffee, scrambled eggs, Canadian bacon and fresh fruit salad) were amazing! We loved them and couldn't get enough. Overall it was such a wonderful weekend. We will definitely be back again.
