Jim and Marianne were great hosts and made an amazing breakfast! The room we stayed in was spacious and comfortable. We'll definitely choose this B&B again when visiting Cambridge.

Charming in Cambridge.....

A girlfriends' road trip took us to Cambridge.....we stayed at the conveniently located Cambridge House, where .we could walk a few short blocks to restaurants or walk in the opposite direction to the waterfront......our hosts prepared gourmet breakfasts each morning.....a nice base for exploring the Chesapeake Bay Area.....also, Max, their dog is quite entertaining!

Sweet Cambridge Oasis

4.4 on January 22, 2015

My husband and I wanted a quick escape from DC and found this gem of a B&B right within walking distance of all that quaint downtown Cambridge has to offer. Jim and Marianne were great about letting us check in early, and we were greeted by their adorable and sweet doggy Max. They quickly oriented us to the property and procedures and made some great recommendations about which restaurants and shops to check out. We stayed in the Dorchester room, which was spacious and lovely with a remote-controlled gas fireplace that provided warmth and ambiance. Of course it's an older home so it has its quirks, for instance, the thermostat in our room actually controlled the temperature in the next door room, but that wasn't a problem at all. I believe we were also located directly above the kitchen so there were definitely cooking smells, but if we kept the door to the bathroom closed it was fine - plus, it whetted our appetite for breakfast in the morning which was very tasty and just the right amount. All in all the property is beautiful, spacious, and comfortable and the location is just perfect for strolling downtown. We really enjoyed chatting with Jim and Marianne, and tossing the ball for Max. We will definitely be back and highly recommend this lovely B&B to others.

Beautiful and Peaceful!

Jim and Marianne have done a wonderful job with Cambridge House. The furnishings are lovely, the setting is peaceful and the breakfast was fantastic! Both nights that we were there we took advantage of the balcony outside our room in order to enjoy a relaxing night after dinner. Highly recommend staying here. Within walking distance of everything Cambridge, MD has to offer!

The absolute best place to stay in Cambridge Maryland

I stayed at Cambridge B&B for the IronMan Maryland event. It was the best experience I've ever had for accomodations at an Ironman event. I will be coming back to stay for a vacation because Cambridge B&B was absolutely fantastic.

Maryann and Bill have an absolutely charming B&B! The house is beautifully restored, my bedroom was spacious, and the bed extremely comfortable! And the breakfasts featured local produce- delectable!! Historic Cambridge is outside their door- sit on the beautiful wraparound porch and enjoy the peaceful ambiance, or walk a short block for great restaurants. This is the perfect location to stay in Cambridge!!
