My husband and I spent a weekend at Cambridge House Bed and Breakfast for our first wedding anniversary. We really enjoy visiting quaint historical towns and I have a love of old homes. It was a lovely weekend of relaxation and fun. Jim and Marianne were perfect hosts who really made us feel at home. They have adorable pets too, which I think always makes a house feel like a home. We stayed in the Bay Room and it was just lovely. The weather was beginning to cool off and each morning I awoke to the breeze blowing through the lace curtains of the open windows. There's a lot of interesting things to see in Cambridge and most of it is in walking distance to the B&B. We visited the lighthouse and docks by the bay and the shopping and dining area of Cambridge. The beautiful homes in the neighborhood makes for a wonderful stroll. We also drove to the nature reserve and rented bikes. On our bike ride we saw the Harriet Tubman site. One of the nicest experiences of staying at the B&B is breakfast. I am vegan and my husband is vegetarian and we never expect special treatment. Jim and Marianne made us a delicious and filling breakfast every morning and it was a perfect way to start our day. I would highly recommend staying here and I am looking forward to going back one day.
