Very pleasant room. Cooked to order breakfast. Free parking in back with easy in and out access. Very good restaurants just a block away on Charles Street. Betty, the proprietor, was a delight. We plan on staying again. Jeff & Judy Reynolds, Davis, CA

Besides just being a fantastic historic building, the inn is in the heart of Baltimore's Mount Vernon Cultural district close to Peabody Conservatory, museums, the Lyric Opera House and the Baltimore Symphony Hall. We had dinner at the inn and it was fantastic - great food, great service and very attentive to my allergy issue - we were able to easily walk the few blocks to the opera instead of enduring a crush of traffic and parking. This was our second stay at the inn and we had to leave very early in the morning to catch a train but breakfast was great on our previous visit. Betty and Sandy are wonderful hosts and welcome you like old friends.

Betty was terrific. She met us in the parking area, got up early to make breakfast and spent time getting to know us. We left with a good night's sleep and some great advice.

Betty is fabulous. She made my long weekend over Labor Day so much more enjoyable with her stories of Baltimore and the Inn history. You will not be disappointed by your stay at the 4 Inn Madison. Local restaurants a block away Louies Maria & Mt. Vernon Stable & Salon were great eating places. The statues and churches a block away made the feel of Balimore the stay wonderful.

It was a wonderful treat...we originally rented the room for my daughter and niece for the festival but her plans changed. We were so glad they did because my sister and I stayed. My only regret is that we were unable to eat dinner (too late) we arrived very late due to traffic it... was Gay Pride Weekend and we were unaware that parking was available with the room. Betty actually walked up the street to meet us and show us where to park. She was great...she gave us a history lesson on the house. Again my only regret is the amount of time we lost. Great visit and hope to stay again!
