Woodwind's Boat & Breakfast includes a delightful two-hour sunset sail, overnight stay aboard the 74-foot, wooden Schooner Woodwind and a gourmet breakfast while overlooking the Annapolis Harbor. For $289 (for a couple) including all taxes, you can experience a unique, romantic, and unforgettable overnight stay. The way it works: Enjoy our terrific sunset sail and when we return to the dock, excellent restaurants are steps away for dinner (not included in price). Woodwind will be waiting for you dockside when you're ready to sleep or to socialize with other guests, or the captain and to relax on deck. Breakfast is served around 8:30 am, and checkout is at 9:30 am. Ask about our combo cruises with our special events.
Available Saturday nights only from the first Saturday in May through end of September.

    We also have the same accommodations for a 5-Day sailing cruise from Norfolk, VA to Annapolis, MD in late October. This is a one-way trip that is fun, educational, exciting and highly interactive. 4 couples is the max. All meals are included, except one dinner ashore. $1600 plus. tax for 2 people sharing a cabin!

      Once you have booked with a credit card, your stay is charged to your card. If you need to cancel your stay, our policy is if we can rebook your stateroom, then we will refund your account minus a $25 cancellation fee. If we cannot re-book your stateroom, then no refunds are given.

      The innkeepers are the boat owners. The couple were public school teachers in Connecticut before pursuing their dream to own and operate this sailing yacht. They taught instrumental music and art. Jennifer, their daughter took a semester at sea in college and urged them to pursue this new venture.

    Sailing on the Woodwind is an interactive experience.  Help raise the sails, steer the boat, or simply sit back and relax with a cold beverage.  We have wonderful regional microbrews, wine and bubbly.Even if you don't want to stayaboard for our Boat & Breakfast Package, we sail up to four times daily from the Annapolis Marriott Waterfront Hotel.  Sailing cruises are typically 2-hours, we do have longer cruises and themed dinner cruises on many Sundays.
    Cabins aboard the Schooner Woodwind are very comfortable.  Full-size berths have wood trim everywhere (its actually the framework for the boat). Each stateroom shares a head (bathroom & shower) with another couple. All staterooms are private and have air conditionerand opening ports.  Snuggle into one of our cabins!

    Schooner Woodwind was designed and built in 1993.  Owned and operated by the same family who had the dream of building the boat.  A very knowledgable captain stays aboard while up to four couples enjoy their overnight stay.Breakfast over looking Annapolis Harbor, Maryland.  Breakfast consists of Apple Cake, Crab & Asparagus Quiche, Fresh Berries, Yogurt & Granola, fresh queezed oj & coffee.
    Raise the sails, steer the boat or simply sit back and relax on your 2-hour sunset sail on the Chesapeake Bay that is included in your Boat & Breakfast package.
