"I've been reading reviews on the Internet for years but have never before written a review. I knew that a place would have to be outstanding to compel me to write. I have found that place in "The Mission Inn." We chose the Mission Inn after seeing their rating and reading all of the glowing reviews. Since we only had 2 nights to spend, we wanted to make sure it was perfect. It was! We were greeted by Susan upon our arrival and shown to our luxurious, immaculate room, the San Juan Bautista. Our walls were hand painted, and our king bed headboard was a replica of the mission made out of hand-carved wood. We had a fireplace and our bathroom was complete with wine glasses, a television, a 2 person jacuzzi tub and a spa shower. We were lucky enough to get a peek at the other rooms and were amazed at the detail of the painting and decorating of each room. The food was amazing...truly a gourmet experience! We loved riding the bikes and were pleased to know that we also had access to beach badges, beach chairs, beach towels and umbrellas. Susan has a gift of making everyone feel special! I would recommend to everyone that they stay at the Mission Inn. Once you stay there, you'll never consider anyplace else. We can't wait to go back again!
