Built in 1721 (eleven years before George Washington was born!), Brimblecomb Hill B&B is a warm and charming antique home located in the heart of historic Marblehead. On a picturesque lane that winds along the Atlantic ocean, Arbor House’s single suite bed and breakfast occupies a newly renovated wing of a 1899 summer house and offers complete privacy. Front picture windows overlook a fresh water pond and sliding glass doors open onto a secluded garden. A three minute walk leads to a private beach, perfect for sunbathing, swimming, and viewing sunrises and sunsets. (Beach chairs, towels, and picnic basket available.) A combination of fine contemporary and antique furnishings, original artwork, luxurious fabrics and fresh flowers help to create an atmosphere of warmth, serenity, and grace. Additional features include an Italian tile bath and sky-lit cathedral ceiling. An expansive continental breakfast and snacks are stocked in your own kitchenette by Jennifer, a former professional pastry chef. Wake up early and watch the sunrise or sleep in and enjoy a long, lazy morning. Your breakfast is ready when you are. Other amenities include a queen-sized bed with an orthopedic mattress, private phone and answering machine, air-conditioning and ceiling fan, 27" TV with premium cable, DVD/ VCR / Stereo (movies and music available), down-filled sofa, separate thermostat, walk-in closet, hair dryer, and iron/ironing board.

Harborside House welcomes you to Marblehead, an 18th century fishing village which became the 'Yachting Capital of America'. This 1850 colonial home offers water views from the fireplaced living room, period dining room, summer breakfast porch, twin bedroom and 2nd story deck. Antique furnishings and period wallpapers enhance the charm of this quiet gracious home. Hospitality is offered in many extra touches: afternoon tea, fresh fruit and flowers, shared recipes for breads and muffins.

Our accommodations include two attractive rooms, one with a queen size canopied bed, the other with a choice of twin beds or king size. A semi private bath is immediately adjacent to each room. While you are here, you can also relax in our comfortable guest sitting room or Marblehead/ English garden and enjoy original paintings throughout the house by the resident artist. A generous continental breakfast with home baked breads, cereal and fruit is included.
