The house itself is spacious and beautiful—an 18th Century house with a 20th Century addition. All in complete harmony. The bedroom was a treat, as were the fireplaces, living rooms and the full breakfast. We will return to the hidden treasure! read more

Review Morning Glory Inn, York, ME

Photo Album

In the early spring and late fall, a cracklin' fire awaits you in the 1700's Parlor.
In the warm summer months, enjoy the views of the lawn, woodlands and gardens. The Sandpiper Room is furnished with warm wood tones and navy blue/taupe Ralph Lauren bedding.
A mahogany deck awaits you under the towering pines.
Infused with Asian design, The Heron has a king size bed. It has a granite and tile bath accented with sea glass and river stones, an oversized shower and "bubble massage" soaking tub. There is entrance to a private mahogany deck with woodland views right outside the room.Rachel's Suite provides a 10 casement window view of the forest. An additional sitting room expands the space. A pocket door provides outside access to adirondack chairs overlooking the grounds and gardens.
A full breakfast is served buffet style from 8:30 to 10:00. It may be enjoyed here on the patio, in the dining hall, or in your private quarters. Welcome! Our Inn is set among giant pines and maples. The gardens have been designed to offer a continuously changing palette of color. The ocean and York River are 1/2 mile away.
Phlox, Royal Red Bee Balm, Shastas, Sea Grass, Balloon flowersPurple Bee Balm, Red Phlox, White Hydrangea, and Bug Bane attract humming birds.
Heavenly Blue Morning Glories overwhelm the entrance arbor in August.
