This is one of our most popular rooms- for good reason. This is a large sunny corner room on the second floor of our Maine House. There is a large deck with comfortable chairs, begging you to spend some time enjoying the view, directly out the harbor channel to the ocean. You can have the same great view from indie you room because of the large sliding glass door. The bathroom has been completely updated yet retains the classic cast iron claw footed tub. Many guests send us outstanding sunrise pictures each year, taken from this deck!
Our largest accommodation, with similar units on 1st and 2nd floors and in each of our outer buildings. All suites have living rooms that open onto private decks with great water views. The bedroom has a queen bed, TV and plenty of closet space. These are great rooms for extended stays or if you just need a little extra space.
This is our mid-size room, queen bed in the main bed room and a twin bed in an alcove. Like most of our rooms these have private decks with a great water view. The twin bed in the alcove provides accommodations for a third person or extra space should you need it. Bathrooms have granite counter tops, tile floors and tub/showers. TV, Refrigerator, heat, A/C and WIFI make these rooms very comfortable.
Filled with plenty of amenities, these rooms feature a queen bed, comfortable chairs for reading and relaxing, plenty of room in dressers and closets for belongings, and baths with vanities and tub/showers combination. Depending upon which building you’re in, these rooms either offer access to a large waterfront balcony or a private balcony sporting great water views.

We were greated by a very friendly women. We were congratulated on our elopment and shown personally to our room. The room was bright, clean and lovely. The bed linens were very nice and high quality. That night a complimentary bottle of champagne was left for us upon our return. The food was amazing! Would give this establishment more stars if I could. We will be returning next year for our Anniversary.

A scenic, peaceful, and tranquil location; a view of the anchorage from one window and a view of the inlet to the harbor from the next; a very clean and classic sea-side Inn; a delicious breakfast served by gracious hosts and enjoyed from the porch enjoying the view; and pleasant surprises - a perfect-sized beach within walking distance on a path along the waterfront and a cliff walk along the rocky shoreline. Just what we hoped for, and more. Scott and Louise.

I found this inn online and had never been there so we didn't know what to expect. We were very impressed with the private location and the outstanding restaurant associated with the inn. We had 3 meals there and the staff and owner made us feel like were were old friends. The food was great including the frito misto, the duck, and the homemade blueberry pie. We book a small room in the main house that had a great view and a shared deck. We will be back and will reserve one of the larger and more private rooms in the other units on the property. So wish this was year-round!

Roasted Duckling with orange sauce
Not a meal you normally prepare at home because of the time it takes. The time we take make it worth it!! Roasted twice to remove the grease normally associated with duck. A cranberry stuffing with crisp skin gives the duck wonderful flavor.
