We were up at Dockside for the weekend for a wedding (reception was at the Country Club which was also magnificent) but as this was nearby it was a great place to stay. The rooms are very nice, balconies overlookng the water, wonderful service and a very charming ambiance.

One of our first stops as we traveled up the coast of Maine. Great way to begin the journey! Very comfortable, clean, and convenient location.

Loved the view from our room and the deck. Room was small and cramped but clean. Grounds are lovely, overlooking the harbor - loved watching the fishing boats go out at dawn. Breakfasts were delicious. Would stay here again. Area is beautiful.

We have traveled extensively throughout New England, but no B & B can compare with Dockside Guest Quarters. Not only are the rooms and dining experience great, but also the views of the inner harbor and Atlantic Ocean are superb.

The breakfast was great but service at restaurant was poor. Didn't treat us like we were staying at the Inn next door
I am sorry that you felt the service at our restaurant was not satisfactory because they did not treat you “like you were staying at the inn next door”. We strive very hard to ensure that ALL guests whether they are Inn guest or the general public have a great experience. Given the lack of specifics, I can only apologize that you were not satisfied.

My room (circa 1972) looked as it had been updated compared to the rooms some of my friends were in. I had a nice fireplace and balcony with a great view of the water. The rooms were clean and the beds very comfortable. The sheets were particularly soft and silky. rooms could us a microwave. We dined at the restaurant and the food was excellent.. I had the drunken lobster sautee. Our waitress was great as we were celebrating a friend's big birthday and all were very friendly and accommodating. I will be back

Roasted Duckling with orange sauce
Not a meal you normally prepare at home because of the time it takes. The time we take make it worth it!! Roasted twice to remove the grease normally associated with duck. A cranberry stuffing with crisp skin gives the duck wonderful flavor.
