We stayed here in July and enjoyed the place very much! Jim is very helpful and the lake is so beautiful. The rooms are clean and spacious. I would definitely recommend this place. Breakfast is wonderful!

Bear Mountain Inn is everything you would expect from a bed and breakfast. It's clean, cozy, and well maintained. There is a private beach and patio ares with fireplace which overlooks the lake. The innkeepers are friendly and helpful, and customer service is their main objective. We had a wonderful time canoeing and kayaking on the lake. Read my detailed review for more information.

We eloped at the Bear Mountin Inn on February 20, 2010. We had never been to and Inn/Bed and Breakfast and found this place to be wonderful. We were greeted by Jim the owner and was made to feel right at home. Jim and Christie his wife took care of us and all of our wedding ceremony arrangements. We had the luxury of just relaxing and letting someone else do all the work. The place is beautiful with a home like feeling. Rooms are very clean and the meals are delicious. We couldn't have found a better place to have our special day and memories. We will definately return again.

What a wonderful place to stay! We were a little concerned about bringing our 3 kids to a Bed and Breakfast Inn because we always felt B&Bs were geared towards couples wanting peace and quiet. However, there is more than enough room at this B&B for couples, families with kids, and families with pets. We just loved our stay here and plan to return next year for a longer stay. Jim, the new owner, made it such a wonderful experience for our entire family. Our family especially enjoyed kayaking on Bear Pond, playing catch with Izzy the dog, and the night bonfire down near the deck overlooking the lake (eating s'mores of course!) My favorite was the peaceful hammock nestled in the shade down near the lake. So, if you are looking for a piece of paradise you must stay at Bear Mountain Inn.
