Bear Mountain Inn
Bear Mountain Inn is a lakefront Bed and Breakfast located on 52 acres in Waterford Maine. Because the property is surrounded by Bear Mountain, Bear River and Bear Pond, we are a haven to nature and wildlife. Our Country Inn features 11 rooms which include two 2-bedroom suites for families and two large luxurious uites for a special occasion or romantic getaway. Four Room have Fireplaces and three rooms have jucuzzi tubs. Our B&B would not be complete without a sugar bear cottage complete with fireplace, log bed, kitchenette and antique bath tub. A log cabin in the woods with a view of Bear River and Bear Pond is perfect for those who want to rough it. Each bedroom in the Inn has its own special touch. The Inn features two fieldstone fireplaces. An outdoor fieldstone BBQ Pit with large deck overlooks the Lake. With a wrap around porch and many rockers, the Inn invites you to stay and unwind for many days. Bear Mountain Inn is on 52 acres of rolling fields and forest, nature trails, private beach with use of canoes, kayaks and paddleboat,true country hiking, In the winter we offer cross country skiing, snow shoeing and snow mobile rentals on the premises. Policies
- Minimum stay required (2 nights on all weekends)
- Smoking is allowed in limited areas (Outside on all decks, porches and outdoor areas)
- Guest pets are welcome (Pets are allowed in the Sugar Bear Cottage)
- Children are welcome (Children Must Be Supervised with Parents at all times)
- No childcare is provided
- Consumption of alcohol is permitted (BYOB)
- Deposit amount required (One night's room rate required for deposit.)
- Check in time is 3:00-8:00 PM and Check out time is 10 A.M.
- Cancellations:
Room must be cancelled 30 days prior to stay to receive a refund less $25 Cancellation Fee. Reservations made with the on-line booking engine will be charged 10% of the full cost of the reservation because Bear Mountain Inn must pay a booking engine fee. Cancellation with less then 30 days notice will receive a refund only if room vacancy is filled. Cancellation with a 72-hour notice or less will be charged for the entire length of the reservation unless the vacancy can be filled.
