Lindenwood Inn
Built as a sea captains home in 1904, the Lindenwood Inn has been greating guests for the last 30 years and shares it's place in local history. It has been lovingly updated and restored, mixing original woodwork and details with the modern comforts of today in a bright, airy and uncluttered decor.
Featuring nine well appointed rooms and suites with private balconies and views of the harbor.A relaxing heated pool and whirlpool area, full service kitchen and a friendly bar with longe areas to unwind and share the days adventures with other guests. The Inn is located in the quaint fishing and boatbuilding community of Southwest harbor and nestled at the mouth of Sommes Sound, a magestic serene setting. It is surrounded by Acadia National Park with famous neibours Bar Harbor, Northeast Harbor and Seal Harbor close by.

From points south take Interstate 95 to Bangor. Take Route 395 at Exit 182A to Route 1A. Follow Route 1A to Ellsworth. From Ellsworth take Route 3 towards Bar Harbor. After crossing on th the island, bear right and follow Route 102 to Southwest Harbor. When in center of town turn left at blinking light onto Clark Point Road. We are half a mile down on the right. - Nearest major airport: Bangor, ME (BGR) 50 miles
