    Take I-95 to I-395. Take I-395 East to 1A South. Follow 1A South to Ellsworth. From Ellsworth follow Route 3 toward Bar Harbor. After crossing onto the Island, bear right and follow Route 102 to Southwest Harbor. We are located just after the center of town, on the left.

  • Minimum stay required (2 night minimum on holiday weekends)
  • Smoking is not allowed
  • We cannot accommodate guest pets
  • Limitations on children staying (8 years and older)
  • No childcare is provided
  • Consumption of alcohol is permitted
  • Deposit amount required (A two day deposit is required on all reservations for two to four nights. A deposit equal to half of the reservation for longer stays.)
  • Closed: November 5 thru April 30
  • Check in time is 3 pm to 7 pm and Check out time is 11 am
  • Cancellations:
    Deposits will be refunded, less 10-dollar processing fee, if cancellations are made two weeks prior to the scheduled arrival date. Deposits will also be refunded if the room can be rented.

Enjoy relaxing in our living room in front of a crackling fire. We have many books on the area, as well as maps and hiking/biking guides. And we're happy to share our knowledge of the local area with you!Most of rooms feature queen size beds. All rooms have private en-suite bathrooms. Each room is uniquely decorated with furniture collected from around the world.
Several rooms, like the Cape Elizabeth room shown here, have gas log stoves and limited views of Southwest Harbor.The Winter Harbor suite has a bedroom with queen size bed, and an attached sitting room with gas log stove.
