The day we arrived it was very hot and we looked forward to cooling off in our room. Unfortunately the AC units had not been turned on, either in our room or on the lovely winterized porch. The porch was cool by the time we returned from dinner, but our room took 10 hours before it was comfortable enough for sleeping. In all fairness, I need to add that Maine, as in much of the East, was going through a period of very warm weather, so this may never be a problem again. In all other respects, the visit was pleasant, Pat and Frank Kulla very welcoming, and the breakfasts were outstanding.
