    Photo Album

The foyer at Berry Manor Inn. Built in 1898 with all the grandeur of the Victorian age as a wedding gift for his new bride, this shingle-styled mansion was originally the residence of Charles H. Berry, a prominent local merchant. Today it remains one of the most stately homes in Rockland, Maine and the area's newest premier bed and breakfast inn.Enjoy a full, multi-course breakfast in our elegantly appointed dining room any time between the hours of 8 a.m. and 9:30 a.m. Choose an intimate table for two by the window or ask us to set up a table for up to six if you are traveling with a larger party. With advance notice we can also arrange for an earlier or later meal to better fit your travel plans, or plan a menu to accommodate special dietary needs or food allergies.
We offer several specials and packages for honeymoons, anniversaries, birthdays, and more.Evening sweets featuring homemade pies baked by the Moms are just one of the many treats we offer our guests, beginning with fresh, hot coffee served in the second-floor library at 7 a.m. Feel free to enjoy your first cup of the day in the library, on the front porch, or wrapped in a warm and cozy robe (robes are provided) in your room.
Room One: Once the private boudoir for the lady of the house and decorated in the same soft colors of moss, gold, basil, and dark quartz, this guest room features a king-sized mahogany half-tester bed draped in swags of tasseled gold and a soft double chaise for a proper Victorian swoon. Wash your cares away in the large, luxury bath featuring a whirlpool tub and double-shower heads, and enjoy a fire in one of three fireplaces original to the house, framed with an oversized mantle and mosaic tile work.Room Two: Our second guest room has sheltered weary travelers for over a century as the former guest room of the Berry family. It is now richly decorated in the warm colors of claret and gold that the Victorians truly loved. The carved mahogany king-sized bed can be set up as two twin beds, if preferred. Relax in a wing-backed chair by the working fireplace set in a carved antique mantle, or pamper yourself with a bubble bath in the extra-long soaking tub added to the house in the 1940's.
Room Three: Papered in tones of ivory and embellished with yards of bouillon and tassels, the bedchamber of the master of the manor offers a romantic retreat for any special occasion -- honeymoon, anniversary, or that special birthday. A canopy of cream, ivory, and pearl silk cascades over the king-sized bed and the spacious room features a built-in vanity, large-tiered mantle around a working fireplace, and bath with whirlpool and double-shower heads for those special evenings in. Indulge.Room Four: A queen-sized white iron canopy bed, draped with champagne silk, takes center stage in this elegant room outfitted with chintz balloon curtains, gathered bed skirt, and plenty of bed pillows in hues of sea-green and soft peach. Treat yourself to a fire in the working corner fireplace, or a pampering session in the large bath with vanity area, double-shower heads, and whirlpool bath.
Room Six: Dream of faraway places in a queen-sized sleigh bed in the nursery turned guest room on our third floor, papered in the pattern and colors of a Kashmir shawl, and decorated with a popular theme of the Victorian age, exotic flora and fauna. Curved windows, arched ceilings, and a working corner fireplace add a sense of adventure to the private sitting area and bath with whirlpool tub and shower.Room Eight: The Berry children's nanny would happily escape to this third-floor guest room with queen-sized bed, a respite from the hustle and bustle with its calming colors of periwinkle, blue, cream, and maize. We've tucked a small working fireplace under the eaves and installed an antique claw foot tub and shower in the private bath for your comfort and pleasure.
Room Nine: A paisley tapestry of olive, merlot and camel dress the custom massive king-sized half-tester bed amassed with pillows. A chaise lounge in front of the fireplace invites you to an afternoon read in front of the fire while the afternoon sun streams through the original hay doors. Built in cabinetry houses a bureau, vanity and television. The en-suite luxury bath features a corner whirlpool tub for two and a custom body jet shower. Or, enjoy this room as a luxury two-room, two-bath suite with fireplace and a separate living room for entertaining.Room Eleven: Earth tones of balsam green, camel and russet dominate the coloring of this luxury hideaway. The king-sized bed is crowned with a corona canopy and draped in panels of russet and gold. A small sitting area with television is located in front of the fireplace. The large en-suite luxury bath features a side-by side whirlpool tub for two, custom oversized body jet shower, vanity and dressing area. Or enjoy this room as a luxury two-room, two-bath suite with fireplace and a separate living room for entertaining.
