5 out of 5Traveling for work
February 07, 2012
I have been traveling to Rangeley ME for work. After the first time we stayed here I told my company next time we go we have to stay there again. We have now been up at least three times and I wouldn't stay anywhere else. Rob and Jan are Friendly, Caring and High Spirited people. I can't wait to take my wife for a well deserved weekend away.

Rob and Jan created the perfect home feel for stay away from home. The place looks great, the rooms are extremely comfortable, breakfst is generous and the location is perfect. One of the most enjoyable B&Bs we've stayed in.

This place was recommended to us by the proprietor of The Gingerbread House in the next town, and we had seen it was the only accommodation recommended by AAA. What a delightful overnight stay we had! Jan and Rob made us feel right at home, recommended a place to eat dinner out on the waterfront deck, and Rob prepared the us the most delicious Maine blueberry pancakes with Maine maple syrup for breakfast. The inn is impeccably clean, the decor is very tasteful, and we slept just as if we had been at home. The only negative was we had only one night there.
4.8 out of 5Bed and Breakfast Perfection
September 13, 2010
If you are an intuitive person, your radar should lead you to this out of the way location for B&B perfection. Nothing but positive vibrations here! Ron and Jean made us feel right at home with their immaculate and tastefully decorated home. Their hospitality was outstanding and can you beat Belgian waffles with fresh whipped cream and fresh strawberries for breakfast?

4.0 out of 5Great B&B, great breakfast, great hosts!
February 24, 2010
We just returned from a three night stay at this lovely B&B. It couldn't have been better. Rob & Jan were wonderful hosts, friendly, welcoming and great conversationalists. Inn is "squeaky" clean and the breakfasts are absolutely first class. We will definitely return for another stay. Twoskiers - Lincoln, NH

July 31, 2009
My husband was always leary of staying at a B&B - I whined enough and convinced him to try one night during our trip to Maine at a B&B. Our schedule put us in Rangeley for only one night - I found the Pleasant Street Inn information and decided it would be our trial run! Rob&Jan were so amazingly gracious. The facilities were spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated and exceptionally comfortable. Rob's recommendation for dinner was perfect and breakfast was delicious!! If it had been possible, I would have changed our plans and spent the rest of the trip at the Pleasant Street Inn. We enjoyed ourselves so very much and thanks to this experience, my husband is willing to try other B&B's when we travel again.
5 out of 5Truly Unique
January 27, 2009
Rob and Jan have created a unique environment where you enjoy the sense of belonging like you are in your own home and the decadence of the finest Inn. For visitors to Maine or those new to the Rangeley Lakes area, this is a perfect pick. The setting and furnishings of the inn are classic New England and Rob and Jan's knowledge and enthusiasm about the local recreational opportunities are endless. During our short winter stay we enjoyed skiing, snowmobiling, and from the warmth of the sun drenched living room we watched deer pass by. The hospitality was superb, the inn design provides room privacy and spacious common space, exceptional cleanliness, and to top it off the food was delicious. This is a truly unique place and we can say it was the most wonderful B & B experience we have had.
