The Atlantic Birches Inn Bed and Breakfast



A relaxing vacation awaits at the Atlantic Birches Inn. The Inn is comprised of two homes, the 1903 Victorian shingle style Main House, and the 1920's bungalow called the Cottage. Each building houses five comfortable and uniquely decorated smoke-free guest rooms all with private baths and air-conditioning, large living rooms, and casual dining areas for our homemade Continental breakfasts. Rooms vary from a cozy retreat for two, up to a two bedroom suite for a family of five. The Inn reflects the peace and tranquility of yesteryear, with a casual elegance. Guests enjoy the opportunity to linger over breakfast on our front porches shaded by Birch Trees, or our Gazebo surrounded by perienal gardens or just bask in the sun by the outdoor heated pool. A short two minute walk from the Inn takes you to Old Orchard Beach's lively downtown, and Maine's largest white sand beach. Located just 12 minutes from Portland and Kennebunkport, and 25 minutes from Freeport and Kittery, the Inn is conveniently located and offers a quiet respite in a busy vacation.

This bright and cheery room is the perfect accommodation for your special occasion such as an Anniversary, Vow Renewal, Elopement, Honeymoon, Marriage Proposal, Engagement or a Romantic getaway. A wedding ring quilt covers the cast iron queen four poster bed, set in a semi-circle of five windows that offer a glimpse of the Atlantic Ocean and morning sunrise through the birch trees. The room is decorated a white and blue cherub wallpaper with a fainting couch, queen Anne chair antique wedding dress and various antique marriage licenses. Located in the Main House on the 2nd floor. Private bathroom with shower.Alberta Room One of our favorite rooms antique wrought iron Queen bed and Twin bed with matching pieced quilts.. Decorated in a lavender and green floral theme with antique oak dresser, Queen Anne chair and English washstand. This room is perfect for a couple that require 2 beds or a family with a child. The bathroom has a window overlooking the pool. Located in the Main House on the 2nd floor. Private bathroom with shower.
This warm and welcoming room with a maroon wrought iron four-poster king bed, is truly fit for a king. Decorated in maroon and biege, and brown with an antique Victorian dresser and piano are the focal points in the room. This room has two large windows in the bedroom that overlook our side lawn and pool area. Located in the Main House on the 2nd floor. Private bathroom with bathtub and shower. Air ConditionedIdeal for a family or two couples traveling together. Two bedrooms third floor hideaway under the eaves. One bedroom with Double bed and twin bed with matching pieced quilts and antique furnishings, Second bedroom with both bed with pieced quilts and antique furnishings. Adjoining bathroom with shower is located between the two bedrooms. Located in the Main House on the 3rd floor. Private bathroom with shower. Air Conditioned
Our most spacious room has a crocheted Canopy Queen bed, and a day bed that can open up to two twin beds. The room is tastefully decorated with antiques, Victorian oak dresser and chest, an oak Queen Anne writing table. This room has two large windows that face our well-maintained lawn and offers a glimpse of the Atlantic Ocean and morning sunrise. The bathroom for this room is detached from the room it is a private bathroom for this room only, (bathtub with shower) right outside the room. We provide robes for this room. This room is located in the main house 2nd floor. Garden Gazebo, get setting for Wedding Ceremonies, Marriage Proposals, Elopement Ceremony, Vow Renewals, or have breakfast and watch the world go by.

A light blue and white escape, this room with wicker and original white-paneled accents offers a perfect haven for a couple. The bathroom includes the claw-foot tub/shower- perfect for a long bubble bath. Located at the front of the Cottage House, the window offers a glimpse of the Atlantic Ocean.Cottage Living room
