The Atlantic Birches Inn Bed and Breakfast
A relaxing vacation awaits at the Atlantic Birches Inn. The Inn is comprised of two homes, the 1903 Victorian shingle style Main House, and the 1920's bungalow called the Cottage. Each building houses five comfortable and uniquely decorated smoke-free guest rooms all with private baths and air-conditioning, large living rooms, and casual dining areas for our homemade Continental breakfasts. Rooms vary from a cozy retreat for two, up to a two bedroom suite for a family of five. The Inn reflects the peace and tranquility of yesteryear, with a casual elegance. Guests enjoy the opportunity to linger over breakfast on our front porches shaded by Birch Trees, or our Gazebo surrounded by perienal gardens or just bask in the sun by the outdoor heated pool. A short two minute walk from the Inn takes you to Old Orchard Beach's lively downtown, and Maine's largest white sand beach. Located just 12 minutes from Portland and Kennebunkport, and 25 minutes from Freeport and Kittery, the Inn is conveniently located and offers a quiet respite in a busy vacation.

From the Maine Turnpike (I-95) going north or south, take Exit 36. This will place you on I-195 headed for Center of town. Go 5 miles from the toll booth. Just after a Rite Aid on your right you will come to a 3-way intersection in downtown Old Orchard Beach. The Town Hall will right in front of you. The Harmon Museum will be on your left. Go straight thru this intersection and the Inn is just after the Harmon Museum on your left.
South on Route One. Take a left just past the Cascade Restaurant. At the light turn left onto Cascade Road. This turns into Portland Ave. We are about 4 miles on right. In Old Orchard Beach. - Nearest major airport: Portland, ME (PWM-Intl. Jet Port) 10 miles

From the Airport get on to The Maine Turnpike (I-95) going south, take Exit 42. At the Exit go straight through to the 2nd Traffic Light. Make a right on to Route 1 go 3 miles. You will pass the Cascade Restaurant At the light turn left onto Rte 98 Cascade Road. This turns into Portland Ave. We are about 3 1/2 miles on right. In Old Orchard Beach. - Meeting places:

- Deposit amount required (The first night of your stay must in advance in order to confirm your reservation. Reservations 4 nights or longer require one-half the total as a deposit. Balance is due in full upon your arrival.)
- Closed: Late arrivals must be pre-arranged
- Check in time is 3 pm - 7 pm and Check out time is 11 am
- Cancellations:
If you must cancel your reservation, a $25 cancellation fee will be charged. The balance of your deposit will be refunded provided you notify us 21 days before the date of your arrival. If less than 21 days notice is given, your deposit may be refunded if we are able to re-rent your room for the period reserved.
