A charming New England Inn adjacent to Perkins Cove. In the quiet part of town our Inn offers cozy accommodations including two room suites. Relax on our veranda and enjoy an ocean breeze or perhaps some quiet time by our bubbling waterfall. Start your day with our own homemade blueberry muffin breakfast. A wine and cheese shop and made in Maine hand painted blueberry dinnerware available on-site. Should you decide to spend some time on the water, we have afternoon and evening charters available aboard our own sailboat.

This was my first solo getaway without any friends or family in tow. Ogunquit has so much to offer and I knew the area fairly well. But choosing where to stay was important to me. The pre-season rates were enticing enough for someone on a budget, but the quaintness and location of the inn was the big draw. And the fact that a husband and wife team were the innkeepers was comforting. (The history of the inn is fascinating.) My interest was further peaked by a potential sailboat excursion, courtesy of Scott, the innkeeper. so I had a few 'firsts' on my list that were happily covered on this vacation! Scott and Beverlee not only made you feel welcome and at home, their service for the morning breakfast, with Scott's homemade blueberry muffins as the centerpiece, with a lovely tray presentation, to wherever you wanted to dine on the property (I chose the front porch one morning and the side patio the next) was so sweet. The grounds surrounding the inn were whimsical and ethereal; a real retreat. I liked that it was close the Perkins cove but off the beaten path. I walked the area from the Cove to the center of town with ease, morning to night. No need for a car unless you want to venture further out in the area. As a female traveling alone, I couldn't have felt safer or more at ease. Scott and Beverlee always made time to talk and were most enjoyable as host and hostess. I found my new getaway spot!
We thoroughly enjoyed having you stay with us and were glad that the weather cooperated for your "first" sail! It is nice to have outdoor options for where to enjoy breakfast while you are here. We look forward to your return!

This review is long overdue as our first visit to the Yardarm was in 2006 before moving to the south from MA. We recently came back for a visit the summer of 2014 and had another amazing visit. For starters Scott and Bev are wonderful hosts and make you as if you are at home. The location is phenomenal - you can park your car when you arrive and leave it until it is time to check out. The blueberry muffin breakfast on the porch is one of our favorite things as well as cocktails on the porch in the afternoon. The only negative is how hard it is to leave! After our recent trip we realized we need to come back each year and look forward to our next visit to the Yardarm next summer!

very well located. close to Perkins Cove, walking distance to Marginal Way and good restaurants. Inn Keepers were very pleasant, helpful and sympathetic. site is away from the hustle and bustle yet close to a tourist's needs. would certainly consider returning on our next visit.

My daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed our 2 night stay in May 2014. The Inn is in the perfect location-- off the main roads, but walking distance to Perkins Cove and the Marginal Way. The breakfast served on the porch was perfect and Scott graciously made gluten-free options available along with great coffee! The room and beds were comfortable and clean. We will definitely go back!

My sister and I stayed there over labor day weekend. Bev and Scott are great hosts. Scott took us for a great sail on his boat and Bev was always there for whatever we needed. The beautiful porch and homemade blueberry muffins made mornings truly special. Thanks for a wonderful stay.

We stay at the Yardarm Inn every summer (for the past five years). It has become one of our favorite summer traditions. The Innkeepers, Bev and Scott, are friendly and helpful. They make sure you are comfortable and are full of information about things to do in the area. Scott's Blueberry Muffins are a must every morning. The wine and cheese shop attached to the Inn offers excellent choices of wine and cheese to enjoy either in your room or out on the lovely farmers porch that runs the length of the inn. The rooms are quaint and decorated very well. The Inn is old, but this just adds to its charm. It is very clean and the air conditioning works very well. Flat screen TVs in each room with great selections of channels give you something to do on a rainy day. Within a short walk you can access the Marginal Way, Perkins Cove, shops and restaurants. If you want to go further away and not walk, there is a comprehensive trolly system that will take you all over Ogunquit, as well as to two beautiful beaches. Highly recommend staying here. You won't be disappointed.
