The Ogunquit Inn was clean, quiet, and close to everything in town.

We enjoyed our stay. The main house is gorgeous on the inside! Rooms are not very big (we had #1 and #4 for two couples, shared bathroom) but they are plenty for the price and were just what we needed as we were out and about all day. Room came with champagne, a rose, and chocolates! Wow! The main room is large and gives plenty of space to visit. We didn't eat the continental breakfast (Nutrigrain bars, hard boiled eggs, tea, coffee, etc.) but we loved the restaurant BINTLIFF'S!! It's just down the road toward town about one block. People recommended "The Egg and I" but that restaurant had terrible coffee, was too busy, and we left because after 20 minutes never had a waiter/waitress! (Very tour-bus stop-ish) Barnacle Billy's and Fox's were recommended for dinner. Both were overpriced and pretty BLAH. The waitress at Bintliff's recommended Mike's Clam Shack, but we didn't have time to investigate as we were on our way out. Too bad, maybe you can!

I chose the Ogunquit Inn for the value and pricing. We were happy with the room, though it was nothing special. The television was small and the bathroom was only serviceable. The shower stall was so small that even I (5'2" tall) had a hard time moving around in it! The stairways leading to our 3rd floor room were narrow and steep, especially the top section - dangerous even! There was no assistance with luggage, which is normal, but if I were coming there alone, I would never have been able to get my bags up there! The breakfast was only continental, not the hot breakfast I would expect at most B&Bs, but I was happy to concede that for a lower price. The location of the inn was pretty convenient, though it did require more walking than some folks might be able to handle - for us it was no problem. A little bit of road noise with the window open - if we were here in the busy season that noise might be too much to take, but in the off season we chose, it was minimal.

    Very nice stay

Had a great stay last week at the inn. The innkeeper was fantastic and the rooms were very comfortable. Also loved the location. Will be back again next season.

breakfast was only continental, but rooms had great views, very clean with outdoor hot tub and private deck for our room. 5 min walk to downtown and feet from a trolley stop!
