Came up for a long weekend, one of the cheaper B&B. It's walking distance to everything which is most important. We did share the bathroom with other guest, which we were concerned at first about but worked out well. We never saw the other guest and the bathroom was always clean! There was a private entrance to our room which was nice. We didn't get to experience the breakfast because we left prio to breakfast being served. Fridge in room which was nice and tv. Overall great first time experience with a B&B.

It's a very nice, charming place, just a short walk from the center of town. The bed was very comfortable. The room was attractive and had more than enough room. Breakfast was simple: hard boiled eggs, pastries, fruit, coffee. My only complaint is the wifi was terrible, to the point of being useless. It barely worked at all on my laptop and the public computer downstairs, and not at all on my phone. Furthermore, cell service in Ogunquit is spotty, so travelers rely on good wifi service. The manager didn't seem interested in improving it, just saying "it's always like this".

Good location to downtown and beaches. Clean. Very small shower. Poor WIFI. Did not take advantage of continental breakfast,

I booked a room at the Oguinquit Inn around 2am on a Monday night on a whim without ever traveling or going there before. There was availability which was amazing. Not only was the room incredibly affordable, but the Inn itself was absolutely beautiful and my friend and I immediately fell in love with our bedroom. The king size bed was super comfortable and the rest of the room was just as beautiful. Kirk was so kind and it was overall just an awesome visit. I'll be returning as often as I can :)

Charming property, very close to town. Bedroom had a wonderful olde world charm, with it's on entrance and porch. Highly recommend.
3.8 on July 23, 2016
This Inn is impeccably clean. The old banisters on the gorgeous staircase to the very modern bathrooms make this building a perfect combination of the old and the new. It is a 2 minute walk from the center of town. I will definitely stay here again!
4.6 on June 02, 2016
I stay at this inn on average 3-4 times per year, this is my 3rd year going back, No dining, other than the continental breakfast that is served. Unbelievably quiet, out of the way, yet close enough to walk to the beach, dining, shops, nightclub etc. Just leave your car here, unless you want to venture on to Wells or further north. The fact that I keep coming here as my first choice in Ogunquit should say alot!
5 on May 08, 2016
We have stayed three times now and have never been disappointed. The rooms are lovely and comfortable. The breakfast is just right to get you going for the day! It's just a short walk downtown to the charming shops and restaurants, or hop on a trolley to go down to Perkins Cove. This B&B is definitely our #1 choice when staying in Ogunquit!
4.2 on June 24, 2015
I prefer the small, quiet charm of this 6 room B&B over the giant luxurious motels anyday! The innkeeper is right there, does all the work himself, and will go out of his way to be sure you have a comfortable, quiet, and relaxing stay, I have stayed at this inn 4 times now, and feel as though it is my second home. It's old, it's charming, and it's clean, Quiet neighborhood off the main road, yet close enough to walk everywhere within the town of Ogunquit. This one is my first choice on my list of places to stay. It will soon be your first choice as well. (The only reason for my 1 star rating on "dining", is that it does not apply here. This inn does not offer meals (he does service complimentary continental breakfast every morning though). For dining, there are countless restaurants in walking distance, to satisfy every taste.

I stayed at The Ogunquit Inn for the first time this month. Everything about my stay was excellent. Kirk, the Innkeeper, is all about service and positive experiences, so the customer service is top-notch. The Inn was exceptionally clean, and my expectations are fairly high to begin with. The room was very comfortable and quiet, and I like the fact that the Inn is just a short walk to the center of town. I will definitely be back and highly recommend The Ogunquit Inn for a nice getaway.

My husband and I truly enjoyed spending a night in Ogunquit. Beautiful seaside town! The Ogunquit Inn made our short stay a very enjoyable one. Our room was very clean and just the perfect size for the two of us. The grounds surrounding the Inn are very well maintained and the service at the Inn truly exceeded my expectations. Very close to the center of town, my husband and I enjoyed the short and beautiful walk to town. I would definitely come back.

The Ogunquit Inn provides exceptional, clean, properly maintained accommodations and service. Kirk is detail oriented and is well organized and provides a wonderful breakfast. The Inn is located within easy walking distance to downtown/near a trolley stop but is not directly on Rt. 1 which provides a buffer from traffic and noise. Highly recommended and looking forward to a return visit!

We had to cancel our reservation and Mr. Lavoie, the innkeeper, kindly responded to our request. It would have been our third stay at The Oquinquit Inn and we woul have top rated it every time.

I somehow lucked into finding a 1-night vacancy here in August. The room (#3) was very comfortable, the bathroom was up to date and clean, there was a private entrance to the back deck overlooking the side garden, and there was off street parking. It's very quiet and peaceful, but really just a short walk to the center of town. The host was gracious and non-intrusive. All in all, I'd highly recommend this B&B.

What a lovely and civilized retreat, in a relaxing garden setting within walking distance to everything in Ogunquit. Our room was comfy and had a lovely balcony. Great value for the accommodations!

I arrived on a Friday evening after a more than stressful week. I was welcomed right away and that treatment never disappeared the entire time I spent there. I love this inn because it's quiet and very simple. The innkeeper is polite and accompanying. This is my special Mother's Day weekend getaway for myself. The free DVD's he provides is just icing on the cake. Will definitely return.

Stayed 2 nights at the Ogunquit Inn, really enjoyed it. Basically a place to sleep while venturing around, but the room was clean, nicely decorated and updated very nicely. We were on 3rd floor, and we loved the ceiling, wall and roof line angles.

Because last year was so great, I came back at the same place this year, what I never really did! :) Everything is perfect and so confortable! The energy is great and the owner very kind and nice. I will probably go back and refer the place to friends. Thanks!

It was a very nice place to stay just had a few things that would've made it awesome. There were bags of trash outside our room the whole stay we were there, there wasn't much lighting in the room and the hot water didn't stay for long. Other than that the innkeeper was nice and the rooms were clean.
3.8 on August 13, 2013
Very good value, especially for a short trip, close to downtown, breakfast was ok.

Room was nice, however room had a queen sized bed that was advertised as a king size. The shower was very clean but small and difficult to move around. Air conditioning unit very nice - extremely quiet and kept the room at a steady temperature. Liked the separate entrance to the room

If you appreciate - quiet, classy, unhurried hospitality with extraordinary attention to detail everywhere you look, choose The Ogunquit Inn. It's out of the fray but within distance. Beautifully appointed. Well run. And Kurt is unobtrusively available, knowledgeable, and charming. He goes the extra mile to take care of his guests, and we will be sure to return. This home reminds me of my grandmothers house with more balconies and bathrooms! There are so many wonderful sitting areas to make you feel like it's just you and your guest in this home. This is our 2nd 4th of July trip there. Kirk is the perfect host. I have stayed at so many B&Bs where the host is so exhausted and burned out and you can tell it's all obligation but Kirk really enjoys his work and is excellent at it. For my daughter and I we love the come as you want breakfast instead of a gourmet set time meal. Wouldn't change a thing.
5 on July 08, 2013
We stayed for two nights and the experience was wonderful! The room was clean, comfortable and decorated tastefully. The breakfast each morning included great coffee and was more than we had ever had at other B&B that we have styled at. The inn keeper was pleasant and offered advice when asked but otherwise left you to enjoy your stay. Would definitely come back!

Thank you Kirk for a great stay. Your place is beautiful and makes me want to come back again. Actually, it makes me want to become an inn keeper. :) Thank you, Kate

During my years living in Boston, I enjoyed spending weekends in Ogunquit at the Ogunquit Inn. Kirk and staff were always so accommodating and attentive. Breakfast was always tasty, with many choices! I really appreciated the location and quick access to the beach, the Marginal Way and all the restaurants and sights on the major streets. Now that I live in Seattle, I still enjoy staying at the Ogunuit Inn when I am back east - it's a bit like coming home for me, always a great getaway!

The Ogunquit Inn was an enjoyable experience for my girlfriend and I. We only stayed one night because we were driving up the coast. The room was comfortable and quaint, and while we shared a bath with another room, we never ran into them or had to wait to use the facilities. Breakfast was tasty. The innkeeper baked some yummy blueberry muffins which were tasty. We walked into town for dinner, which only took about 5 minutes. I'd stay there again.
3.6 on October 14, 2012
We liked our one-night stay at the Ogunquit Inn. Liked the location, the DVD collection, little shared terrace. However since we had to leave in the morning, we couldn't really meet the inn keeper or explore all the services. Few other quibbles: - I had problems connecting to the WiFi with my computer. - Took me some time to get the room heater working. - Google Maps did not have the right location for the Inn, so we had to drive around a little bit to locate it in the night.

3.8 on September 28, 2012
We enjoyed our weekend in Ogunquit, and it was nicely complemented by our time at the Ogunquit Inn. We were well within walking distance of Shore Rd, Beach, Perkins Cove, and Marginal Way. The Inn is just off the main street through Ogunquit on the far north end of town, making it convenient to get to but also quieter than others. Some rooms have private entrances, which is very nice. We didn't use the hot tub, although it looked very nice, but appreciated the nice selection of movies as well as the balcony attached to our room. The breakfast was a fairly limited Continental, but the breakfast room was very nice.

The Ogunquit Inn is just off of busy Rt 1 in the heart of all the action in Ogunquit. Stayed in room 2 on the 2nd floor. Room was most acceptable. Kirk, the innkeeper, was very attentive too my needs. Wish the continental breakfast was a full breakfast. Will stay again!

This is a quaint B&B close to everything in Ogunquit. It was super peaceful, quite and clean. The room was small and we had to share a bath, but it was no problem at all. My only complaint is that when we arrived a little bit early about 1:30pm to check in, we were not greeted warmly and were just told to come back after 3pm. No welcome, no ask for our name, or if we'd like to leave our suitcasesjust a very curt "come back later". I wasn't sure if it was the owner or someone who worked there, but it left a bad first impression. After that though, we really did enjoy our stay and would definitely go back.
4.0 on August 13, 2012
The room was a little small, but it was adorable. The bed was comfortable and I loved the ceiling (wooden). Being on the 3rd floor, I thought it would be difficult to cool, but the air conditioner worked great. The bathroom was very small (we were in room 5) and there was only a stall shower that was big enough for 1 (which made it difficult to shave legs etc.). The water temperature was also very difficult to control as it went from hot to cold very quickly. The fridge was miniture and was in the bathroom, which was a bit odd. The breakfast was plain (probably as there are only 6 rooms). One morning there was english muffins, and another morning was waffles. There were aways some sort of pastry, nutra grain bars, tea and coffee with breakfast each morning. The owner was great and more than willing to help us with dishes we needed (we had a cake to celebrate our anniversary). The rooms were cleaned each morning, especially the bathrooms, but we did see cobwebs with a couple small spiders. The location was fantastic. It was on the outskirts of the town center (maybe 0.25 miles from the center) which made it perfect for walking everywhere (especially since parking is so expensive).
3.8 on August 05, 2012
Nice and simple Inn. The breakfast is a continental buffet but this time (our second stay), it appears less quality. Unless the fisrt day we coulf make waffles. :) Everything else in the Inn is super! We will surely return fot a third stay next year.

This is a truly wonderful small inn in downtown Ogunquit. We have stayed here twice and will return. The owner is accommodating and friendly. The rooms are lovely, though small. We have stayed in a beautiful room on the third floor, and a smaller room on the second floor where we shared a bath. Rooms are super clean, located on a quiet street. Such an easy walk to town and the beach. Our only "complaint," and I would be reluctant to call it a complaint since we now know what to expect, but I would not categorize this as a Bed and Breakfast in the traditional sense. Breakfast consists of containers of yogurt, hard boiled eggs, and store bought pastries. Coffee is not available until 8:30, which seems a shame. In general, we went into town for breakfast and coffee. So, if you want a lovely Inn, reasonably priced in downtown OGT, but have low expectations for breakfast, The Ogunquit Inn is your place. It's ours!

We found this charming inn on the internet and booked blind. What a treasure!! Exceptionally well-maintined, clean, quiet. Loved Room 2 with it's balcony over the garden. The freshly baked raspberry muffins were a real treat as was the box of assorted Stash teas at breakfast. A definite revisit!!!

We enjoyed our stay. The main house is gorgeous on the inside! Rooms are not very big (we had #1 and #4 for two couples, shared bathroom) but they are plenty for the price and were just what we needed as we were out and about all day. Room came with champagne, a rose, and chocolates! Wow! The main room is large and gives plenty of space to visit. We didn't eat the continental breakfast (Nutrigrain bars, hard boiled eggs, tea, coffee, etc.) but we loved the restaurant BINTLIFF'S!! It's just down the road toward town about one block. People recommended "The Egg and I" but that restaurant had terrible coffee, was too busy, and we left because after 20 minutes never had a waiter/waitress! (Very tour-bus stop-ish) Barnacle Billy's and Fox's were recommended for dinner. Both were overpriced and pretty BLAH. The waitress at Bintliff's recommended Mike's Clam Shack, but we didn't have time to investigate as we were on our way out. Too bad, maybe you can!

I chose the Ogunquit Inn for the value and pricing. We were happy with the room, though it was nothing special. The television was small and the bathroom was only serviceable. The shower stall was so small that even I (5'2" tall) had a hard time moving around in it! The stairways leading to our 3rd floor room were narrow and steep, especially the top section - dangerous even! There was no assistance with luggage, which is normal, but if I were coming there alone, I would never have been able to get my bags up there! The breakfast was only continental, not the hot breakfast I would expect at most B&Bs, but I was happy to concede that for a lower price. The location of the inn was pretty convenient, though it did require more walking than some folks might be able to handle - for us it was no problem. A little bit of road noise with the window open - if we were here in the busy season that noise might be too much to take, but in the off season we chose, it was minimal.

We loved our stay at the Ogunquit Inn. The owner was very nice and very easy going. We liked the fact that we were not charged for a big fancy breakfast as we thought it was fun to save the money and eat at some of the quaint places in town. The location was perfect, just a short walk to town and so easy to come and go! The room was small, but we did not care. We would rather have save the money on our room and put it towards our new Ogunquit sweatshirts! The room was very clean and we loved the little private porch we had and we loved that we had our own entrance. Staff was friendly and so easy going! We would love to come back some day and if we do, we will stay right back at the Ogunquit Inn again!

Hello, I just loved my stay at the Ogunquit Inn. It was incredibly quaint, very clean, and friendly service. The guests were very respectful as well, it was very quiet the whole time I was there and it was a full house. Lovely, and I am gonig back!!

We stayed in our favorite room - Room 2. It has a private entrance and a private balcony. A recently added ceiling fan adds to the comfort of the room - sometimes you don't need to use the air conditioner but want a little more air circulation. The Innkeeper, Kirk, is very hospitable and helpful. The Inn is within walking distance of the beach, restaurants, and shops. We have stayed here many times.

So close to downtown and the beaches and reasonably prices. Love Hot-Tub and rooms were cozy and comfortable. Only downside was a very basic continental breakfast, but they were up front about it on the site so it seems fair. There are lots of options for breakfast just steps away.

Everything was great, except the terrible noise made by guests coming back at 2:30 in the morning, speaking loudly, and disturbing us for quite a long time, and without any consideration for people who were sleeping. Beside this, which is not fault of the owners, my experience has been definitely positive.

The inn has one of the best location and is A1 clean. The only minor thing I disliked was the thin and short door of the room at the third floor. Not good for a romantic stay...the breakfast are good and varied through the week. What is really outstanding is really Kirk. He has every quality you want in an innkeeper. We will return for sure

We had a wonderful time in Ogunquit. The Inn was really nice and so worth the price. We had room #2 and it was bigger than we expected and the private back entrance was nice to have. it was easy access to the car. The room was extremely clean and the bed was really comfortable. The coffee at 8:30 is kind of late when you want to get moving before the crowds wake up. You can defiantly leave your car in the driveway and walk to the restaurants and shops. It's so close to everything. If you want just to eat fresh lobster and not pay the price of a restaurant, eat at BEACH PLUM LOBSTER FAR just up the road. They cook it for you and you eat outside on the picnic tables. It's so worth it. We will defiantly go back to the Ogunquit Inn

This establishment is fully adequate. The proprietor is helpful and accommodating. The location is off the main street, convenient walking to the village, and quiet. Some rooms have a "back door" leading to a balcony with chairs. It would be nice if the continental breakfast included cereal and granola options and was available earlier, or at least the coffee service.
