I go there at least once a year and frankly I think it is only getting better every year, the owners are sicerely kind and friendly, make you feel like they invited you to stay there. Place is clean, comfortable and warm with a wonderful view on the sea and Marginal way, particularly in summer when having fresh prepared breakfast outside. This place is a must see!!!

Spent a wonderful weekend at Rockmere Lodge...this is the 5th time I have stayed there and the 5th time I am thrilled with everything about this Bed and Breakfast...first of all the Lodge is gorgeous, filled with antiques and wonderful artwork...the breakfasts were exceptional. And the Innkeeper and Owner Andy is the most personable and accommodating professional I have ever dealt with. I also introduced my brother to the Lodge this trip and he loved it. I recommend it highly. Jean Standring

My husband and I recently stayed here for the second time and before we left we made reservations to go back next month. Place is clean, comfortable and the innkeepers couldn't be more welcoming. Plus, the stay includes a wonderful home cooked breakfast! It's steps from Marginal Way and the view of the ocean is phenomenal - especially from the sitting area on the third floor. If you're looking for a place where you'll feel at home then this is the place for you. Because of its location, if you like to walk you're just steps from Marginal Way so a turn to the right brings you to Perkins Cove and a turn to the right will bring you to the center of town and one of the most gorgeous and perfect walking beaches I've been to. Enjoy!

The Layout: Delightful, welcoming, clean and refreshing. A great gift in having a host who truly wants you to enjoy rest and refreshment. The incredible gift of sea sights and breezes enjoyed right from an oh-so-comfy bed. Breakfast: Flavor-filled variety of freshly made breakfast specialties, fresh fruit, choice of cold juices, and plenty of hot coffee – and that coffee? Available 24 hours a day (or tea or hot chocolate)!! The Rooms: Charmingly decorated throughout - parlor, dining room, bedrooms, bathrooms. The bedrooms are large yet cozy rooms, and still include all the amenities. And lots and lots of novels to read. Beautiful parlor with a fireplace you wish you could take home, even a matching one in the dining room. Location: All this along the most beautiful place in the world – the Marginal Way in Ogunquit Maine. Added Gift: Thank you so much, Andy! It was wonderfully refreshing, so much more than we even hoped for. And gaining a friend as well.

This was our first time staying at a B & B. What a wonderful experience it was. Initially walking in was like stepping back into Victorian time, elaborate and very beautiful decor. As well, the entire Inn was enveloped in beautiful Christmas decorations. Every room had a beautiful uniquely decorated tree. It is truly a beautiful and unique place to stay. The location is simply spectacular, with amazing ocean views from our room, to stepping out the front door right onto Marginal Way. What else could you ask for? Andy made us feel so comfortable and welcomed we literally felt like we'd come home, only better. Every morning Andy prepared us a lovely full breakfast. We also had the honor and privilege of having the company of Uncle Phil. What a rare gem this gentleman is. He told us stories of his very interesting life, history which has affected each and every one of our lives. What a lovely time we had visiting with both these gentleman. Andy's "kids" are beautiful and fun loving. It was fun to see who Abby was going to settle in next to, during breakfast. There is a wide variety of hot beverages displayed for your enjoyment 24/7, not to mention brandy in many flavors for adding to your coffee if you like. Plenty of candy as well. The Rockmere Lodge is simply magical. Thank you again Andy, for opening your beautiful home. We will be back many times in the years to come.

My husband and I enjoyed our mini getaway at the Rockmere Lodge. The owners are wonderful and provide a warm, inviting atmosphere. We were just steps away from the ocean and the marginal way. We are looking forward to our return visit to the Rockmere!! Cheryl and Jeff

Far and away the best B and B we've ever stayed at. Awesome view of the ocean; the Inn is only steps from the Marginal Way. The hosts are delightful. They obviously love their place and are dedicated to taking care of their guests. From the marvelous breakfasts to the wonderful third floor lookout, complete with a bird book and several sets of binoculars, their caring is evident everywhere. We hope to visit again soon!

The room was clean and spacious, all the rooms are decorated and beautiful. The breakfast each morning was fabulous. Every detail is taken care of. The inn keepers are very helpful and friendly. They make you feel like you are home. I am definitely going back soon. Beautiful ocean views and you can walk to the Marginal Way. Many Thanks to Andy, Doug and Bob for doing such a wonderful Bed and breakfast. Thanks again. T. Storm

It has become a tradition for me to spend my birthday weekend at Rockmere and this year I brought my sister with me. I love Ogunquit in the off-season and it is wonderful to be welcomed back each year by Andy and Doug as well as other guests that seem to visit at the same time each year. The breakfasts at the inn get better each year and we never tire of the lobster dinners from local restaurants. For me, there is no place better to 'get away' than Rockmere Lodge.

We just got home from spending the most romantic and scenic weekend in Ogunquit Maine. Nestled on a hillside, steps from the Marginal Way, Rockmere Lodge over looks the ocean with all it's tranquility and ferociousness it can offer. We saw both this past weekend, as per New Englands ever changing weather, we had a calm Saturday and a Nor'ester Saturday night. The Lookout from the third floor of this wonderful B&B offered the best seat to wake up to a gorgeous Saturday morning watching the tranquil ocean, but then not to be outdone, we awoke to the fury of a Nor'easter on Sunday morning. All the while warm and safe in the lookout. The innkeepers are wonderful. They made us feel the Lodge was our temporary home. The breakfast cooked by Doug was the absolute best ever, especially the omelets. I've never had an omelet so moist and flavorful. Andy, is a wonderul story teller. He shared so many wonderful stories of their experiences while serving us breakfast. He told us about helping the save the Ogunquit Theater (a local icon) to being in Kermit the frog in Ogunquit's Christmas by the Sea parade. As well, he provided wonderful suggestions of the places to go and things to see during our stay. All of the rooms in the inn are impeccably decorated and will whisk the visitor back to the 1800's (except there is private baths of each room). When I stepped inside the Lodge, I marveled at each room. While every room was different, somehow, there was a flow to the decor that didn't make anything seem out of place. Of course going at Christmas time, we had the benefits of all the little extra things set out to regale the holiday in each room; so many Santas; so many poinsettas, and a revolving Christmas tree! Rockmere Lodge is a wonderful place for a romantic getaway. We came as strangers with expectations, and left as friends with hopes of returning in the not too distant future.
