Puffin Inn

  • Inn Details

One of Ogunquit's premier B&B's for over 25 years. A historic Victorian home with 10 spacious, individually decorated guest rooms each with its own private bathroom, comfortable sitting area, mini-fridge, flat screen HDTV with DVD, guest controlled air conditioning, and free wireless internet access. In 2010, all of our guest rooms were updated with top-of-the-line Sealy mattresses, plush carpets, and 500 thread count bed linens and blankets. Our bathrooms have new tiled floors. Enjoy our hot full breakfast each morning including egg quiches, made from scratch sweet breads, blueberry buttermilk pancakes and waffles. Unlike other B&B's in town, our breakfast is not a buffet or continental, nor is it purchased from vendors. Our breakfast is homemade in our kitchen using the freshest organic veggies and ingredients. We are conveniently located on Main Street in Ogunquit. The most popular part of Ogunquit, the Village Center, is less than a 1/2 mile walk (8-10 minutes) from the Inn. There you will find unique boutique shopping and fine restaurants. Our beautiful white sandy beach is about 3/4 mile walk. If you don't feel like walking, we are located on the trolley line which will take you anywhere in town. Puffin Inn has been featured in novels and many magazine articles including Maine's Down East Magazine and Frontier Magazine. Awarded Inn of the Month on bedandbreakfast. com and Top 5 in guest reviews on dozens of bed and breakfast websites including Trip Advisor. Unlike other B&B's in Ogunquit, we are a true bed and breakfast. When you stay with us, you are staying in our home. We live here, we greet you, and we serve your breakfast. Nearly 80% of our guests are repeats and they won't stay anywhere else! Visit our website and view our guest room photos. Or give us a call (207)646-5496, and we'll help you select the perfect guest room. Unfortunately, we do not accept bedandbreakfast. com gift certificates because they keep 20% of the amount.

We really enjoyed our stay at Puffin Inn in June. The weather was perfect in Ogunquit and the hospitality at Puffin Inn was outstanding. We loved the room we chose and the breakfast was wonderful. We were given ideas of places to go and restaurants to explore and that was helpful to us since it was our first visit to Ogunquit. I highly recommend coming to Puffin Inn if you are visiting in this area. Location was wonderful. It was in walking distance to the beach and shops and the house was quiet for relaxation and sleep - actually we were surprised there were other people staying there!

Relaxed charm, superb breakfast, & ideal location. Within walking distance to the beach and all main amenities. The owners were extremely nice, and so helpful. Our room was very lovely, both clean and comfortable. Would most certainly visit again.

The Puffin Inn is truly "special". As a matter of fact it's perfect! Steve and Mark are wonderful hosts who truly understand that paying attention to every little detail is really worth it. The Inn is impeccably clean and maintained. Decoration is lovely. My husband and I wouldn't consider staying anywhere else in the Ogunquit area.

    Best in Ogunquit!

This was our 3rd time staying at the Puffin and it only gets better and better. We stayed in Room #2 this time and it ended up being our favorite. It's on the first floor, quiet and so comfortable! Newly redecorated and immaculately clean (as is the entire inn). My husband and I take one vacation a year without the kids and we always stay at the Puffin!
