Hartwell House Inn & Conference Center
The romantic Hartwell House Inn, a 16-room inn and conference center, is located in quaint Ogunquit, southern Maine. Open year-round and within easy reach of Boston (1-1/2 hours, 5 from NYC), the inn and conference center are minutes from the beach, shopping and diverse four-season activities.
Guests can park at the Inn and walk one block to the “Marginal Way” foot path or to Ogunquit or Perkins Cove for whale watching, fishing, boutiques and waterfront lobster dining. “Antique Alley”, Kittery and Freeport outlet shopping are an easy drive.
16 air-conditioned guest rooms, suites and studios are furnished with antiques, some with deck, kitchenette and/or sitting room with sofa … ideal for a honeymoon or weekly rental.
The dedicated conference and function center offers conference and party rooms accommodating 12 to 75.
The Inn is a romantic site for off-season catered small weddings and celebrations.

From Points South: (Massachusetts, New Hampshire) Northbound on Route 95 to Exit 7 formerly Exit 4 (York/Ogunquit), bear right; left at stoplight onto Route 1 North.
(If traffic is heavy coming into Ogunquit, bear right onto Pine Hill Road, 4.2 miles from the I-95 exit, and follow until it ends at Shore Road, 2.6 miles. Make a left onto Shore Road and proceed to #312, 1/4 mile. Bourne Lane, as instructed below, is somewhat more direct if traffic permits.)
The Ogunquit Playhouse, a large green and white structure, is on your right about 6.5 miles up Route 1 as you approach downtown Ogunquit; make the next right onto Bourne Lane.
Bourne Lane ends at Shore Road; make a right on Shore Road, and the Hartwell House reception office is about 1/4 mile up on the right at #312......
From Points North: (Canada, Northern Maine) Southbound Route 95 to Exit 19 formerly Exit 2 (Wells/Ogunquit), turn left at stoplight onto Route 109 East. Follow 109 East until it ends at Route 1; turn right onto Route 1 South.
Follow Route 1 through Wells and into Ogunquit; watch for signs for Perkins Cove and Shore Road.
In downtown Ogunquit, Beach Street and Shore Road come together in a V to meet Route 1/Main Street on the left. Make a left onto Shore Road and continue about 6/10 mile toward Perkins Cove, to the Hartwell House reception office on the right at #312. - Nearest major airport: Portland, ME (PWM-Intl. - Cancellations:
In the event of cancellation with less than two weeks’ notice, deposit is non-refundable. With over 14 days notice deposit is refundable less a $25.00 processing fee.
