Stayed for 4 nights in September 2014. Had a great time , Scott, Peter and Bruce are gracious hosts, and recommend many great places to see, dining, shopping, and touring. The Gazebo is a lovely place to relax, and still be close to all that Ogunquit has to offer. Will definitely come back for another visit!

My husband and I just returned from two nights spent at the Gazebo Inn and we found it to be such a wonderful place! We were truly blown away! Upon arriving, we were greeted by two of the nicest guys you could ever meet, Scott and Peter. Scott gave us a tour of the place, pointing out all of the helpful details... and there are many- all of which have been attended to at this beautifully restored Inn which was converted from an old farmhouse and barn. All of the original wood was preserved and used throughout the Inn, from the floors to the ceilings, even crafted into tables. Even the windows from the old barn have been preserved and used as artwork around the Inn.The salt-water in ground hot tub was divine. Their homemade breakfasts presented a wide range and were scrumptious and innovative. Peter served a most wonderful spinach, feta, & red pepper pesto to go with the scrambled eggs, along with roasted apples, Belgium waffles, and although I've never been a scone fan, they certainly changed that! Their blueberry scones and raspberry/white chocolate scones were the best I've ever had. Our room was charming, quiet and clean, with our own little front porch area where 2 rocking chairs were set up to enjoy a cup of coffee or a glass of wine. Speaking of which, coffee and tea is available all day, as was a delightful jar of apple cider left out for the guests, plus an array of wine, champagne, and beer to purchase if desired. There was a small fridge in our room for keeping leftover food and cold drinks. The beds were dreamy. The sheets, bedding and towels were of the highest quality. I was also impressed with the beautiful upstairs library and a massive movie dvd collection (for those cold or rainy days/nights). The grounds are beautiful, and there's even a massage room, workout room, and sauna. They are in partnership with several restaurants in the area and provide many excellent deals on the rates. We can't wait to return. Thank you, Scott and Peter!

Far and away the standard bearer for all others to try to duplicate. Scott and Peter have thought of EVERYTHING!!!!. Upon entering to a warm reception and noting the "enter as strangers leave as friends" motto we were supremely impressed with the planning, layout and ambiance of the Gazebo Inn. Since this location was recommended by dear friends we were receptive to an exceptional expectation and it was met at every turn. From the complimentary water to the complimentary outdoor area including a fabulous hot tub that could accommodate 12 + but we had it all to ourselves. We looked for something to comment on and were flabbergasted with the service and need by the staff to satisfy our every request with a flamboyance that cannot be expressed in words. A truly fantastic experience. Wished we could have stayed for a month. Breakfast was homemade from the wonderful scones to the cream filled French toast to the fresh coffee.....EXCELLENT. Having stayed at B&B's worldwide and traveling to Ogunquit for the first time we were totally impressed with all aspects of this location and plan on regular visits to share with present and new friends for a long time. Scott and Peter, you guys are GREAT.... Bill & Eileen

First of all, I have to say that if you read no further just know that this place is absolutely wonderful in every way. My daughter and I stayed here as a mother/daughter getaway and could not have been happier with our choice to stay here. We arrived and right from the start were greeted by Peter in the back parking lot showing us the perfect spot to park for our room. Then upon exiting our vehicle Scott came out, said hello to us by name, introduced himself, offered help with our luggage and then gave us a tour. The place itself is fabulous and the attention to detail is unsurpassed. Scott and Peter show great pride in everything they do and it is extremely evident in all they do and how they run the inn etc. The rooms are clean, cozy and beautiful! They have plenty of coffee and tea choices right in the room, along with 2 water bottles to refill free of charge throughout your stay. The breakfasts are so scrumptious and they have many places to sit and enjoy this every morning, inside and out. We were impressed with how as we walked I the breakfast room each morning either Scott or Peter would come out and greet us and explain the breakfast choices. To date we still wonder what the morning's breakfasts will be! The pool and hot tub are awesome, clean , and perfect temperatures. We had massages done at the spa and those were wonderful as well and very professional. There is also a great movie collection right in the gift shop that guests can use free of charge. The location is perfect...we walked to the beach multiple times a day, walked to Marginal Way and took a Trolley right into town, which has a stop right in front of the Inn. We always read reviews before we stay at a place and while we were visiting we discussed how we can't imagine what on earth someone could say negative about this place!

My husband and I recently got married and stayed at the Gazebo Inn Ogunquit for our honeymoon. This place rocked! Upon arrival, we were greeted by the owner of this wonderful establishment to give us a 30 minute tour of the entire facility. Kevin (my new husband) and I were totally blown away. This place offers everything from umbrellas, coolers, chairs for the beach, to a gourmet breakfast in the morning. Again, it is without reservation that I say, THIS PLACE ROCKS!

We stayed here over the July 4th weekend. We traveled with another couple. We all agreed that the place was wonderful. Scott, Peter and staff work hard at making it a comfortable and welcoming. My husband and I were in house suite 10. Loved the room. It was on the ground floor by the pool. The shower and bath combo is the best. Great jetted tub and a fantastic shower. The shower and tub are behind glass doors. Breakfast was excellent. Changed every morning. One morning it was blueberry pancakes another morning we had the most delicious scrambled eggs and there were always a breakfast meat and potatoes. There was also fresh baked scones every morning. We would definitely come back here when we are in Maine. Thank you Scott, Peter and staff for a great stay.

We have stayed at many B&Bs over the years, and this is the one all others will now be judged by! Every part of our stay was stellar, and relaxing. The owners are friendly but not pushy, which is harder than it sounds. They were very helpful when I wanted to surprise my husband with a pie - he was very pleased to have it waiting in the room, along with our anniversary balloons, champagne and chocolate covered strawberries (THE best I've ever had!) The food was great, excellent selection for every taste to start the day off, and a nice little area to eat in, while not being on top of each other. The bed, oh the bed, was seriously the most comfortable Ive ever slept in. Just overall comfortable mattress, and the layers of blankets and sheets were incredibly high quality (and you can buy them!). Lying down felt very indulgent, right to the pillows that were like clouds! The room (king 5) was gorgeous, including the bathroom. Obviously care was put into every room, and the water pressure was great, which has usually been one of our disappointments when traveling. Our room was convenient to the pool and hot tub, which was a treat. We did alot of walking and after such a long cold winter, the salt water hot tub was incredible, very indulgent and a great set up - even if several couples are out, you each have your own area to chat privately. The location is excellent, we like to walk, so were delighted when we could cross the street and take the footbridge onto the absolutely stunning beach, then walk down to the main part of town for shopping and restaurants. The sand is silky soft, and the view is absolutely stunning and very relaxing. We were within easy distance of the center of town and the incredible Marginal Way - a path that winds along the coast. If you're adventurous, you can climb on the huge jetties, we did and had a blast! This is definitely one out our 'we have to get away' places, especially after a long winter, this is the perfect place to recharge!

Wow! You know you have reached a new level of hospitality when you drive up the entrance to The Gazebo and after only a few yards you leave the hustle of Route 1 traffic far behind. Scott and Peter greet you like old friends and make you feel at home from the start. Take the tour, as you want to make sure you know all that is available...the level of comfort will melt away all stress. Here is a place that has expertly honed the art if hospitality. And while the prices may be higher than what you're used to, you get far more than your money's worth. Our time there was regrettably short but left us wanting to return to experience the pool and hot tub surrounded by what undoubtedly will be a riot of color in a beautifully landscaped and flowered terrace. BTW, we have experienced no other property that offers such a huge variety of extras to help celebrate a special occasion. I made a large number of brownie points from an exquisite floral arrangement and box of chocolates for my husband that were waiting for us in our room. The custom-made furniture adds to the comfort of each room and the awesome lounge in the rustic barn will blow you away. Go see for yourself and treat yourself to some quality time at the best place in southern Maine. You deserve it...we did!

We had a wonderful weekend at the Gazebo Inn. We enjoyed using the hot tub, especially the privacy offered by the different sides. We had a fantastic couples massage right on the premises, which made it extra relaxing. The breakfasts were delicious! Scott and Peter really pay attention to every detail. Definitely will be recommending the Gazebo Inn to our family and friends.

Heaven is a place on earth and it's called the Gazebo Inn :) This was our third stay at the Gazebo Inn. We stayed one night in King 2 and another night in King 7. Both rooms were amazing. Our hosts are always fantastic and they were especially helpful this visit with our wants and changing plans. Breakfast was amazing as always. We thoroughly enjoyed the quiet season of the community. The Gazebo Inn is our "go to" place to relax and recharge.
