My husband & I just spent 3 nights here and it was good for the soul! It was our 2nd stay & we plan to return next year. The location is within walking distance to beaches, shopping & restaurants - but the Inn is an oasis in the midst of it. It's like a top notch boutique hotel with all the amenities - without hustle & bustle and MUCH more personality. The Innkeepers & staff couldn't be more attuned to guests and go out of their way to provide a caring, friendly level of service you don't often find. We brought our own glassware for wine & cocktails - but it wasn't necessary. The (BYOB - Yay!) bar in the luxurious (but cozy) common room is fully stocked with ice & all types of glassware, including unbreakables for the pool area. We took advantage of the huge unique saltwater hot tub & pool on the private grounds. The gardens & plantings everywhere are fabulous - even this late in the season - the last week of summer. Just a couple steps outside our door (patio level King 5) were tables & chairs for our wine & cheese happy hour. Happy hours they were. We enjoyed uncrowded beaches this is the time of year to come! Our two cloudy drizzly days were just as enjoyable. We walked on the beach and spent hours poking around antique shops - finding several unique treasures you're not going to find back at HomeGoods. There are plenty of boutique shops & outlets close by if you're inclined. When we had enough antiquing we returned to the inn to relax, make our martinis & lounge around the pools or comfy common room. We're foodies and LOVE to cook, so we appreciated the fantastic extensive inn breakfasts & restaurant recommendations Scott provided. You can not beat the $47.pp deal (purchase your voucher at the Inn) for a four-course dinner at Clay Hill Farm. This was a three night/four-day mini-vacation, but we left feeling completely refreshed, relaxed and pampered. It couldn't have been a better stay.

Gazebo Inn, Where to begin, from the rooms to service, food, and great people who run it. It has to be the best experience I've ever had. My fiance and I visit there as often as we possibly can. Their rooms and suites have to be the some of the most beautiful I've seen. Their breakfast every morning has to be the best, great menu... Their homemade scones, THE BEST!! White chocolate raspberry is my favorite.. Did i mention the beautiful outdoor hot tub. beautiful and so relaxing all year round.. And on top of that Scott,Bruce, and Peter have to be some of the best people I've ever met, not to mention the rest of their wonderful staff make you feel like one of the family. All I have to say is I'm thinking of planning my wedding there.. By the way they do that too and beautifully I might add.. Its like a home away from home.. Peaceful, beautiful, plenty of wonderful restaurants with great food within a short distance.. Truly adore this place!! Definitely worth the visit and the money!! Thanks Scott, Bruce, and Peter you guys ROCK!! sincerely Debbie & Justin

My husband and I stayed here for our honeymoon and we could not have been happier or more pleased with our accommodations. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. We were right near the beach and town. The room we stayed in was inviting and romantic. We loved using the whirlpool and shower in our room and that was after we would use the pool and hot tub outside. Absolutely fantastic place and we cannot wait to visit again in the fall!

Thank you, Scott and Peter for a most relaxing getaway. The Inn is beautiful, clean and quiet inside and out. We had a fabulous stay ...enjoyed our room, (especially the bathroom with the steam shower and jacuzzi tub), welcomed a chance to forgo the beach and unwind by the pool and hot tub. There are no words to describe the massage...Amber is the best. Breakfast was delicious; be able to have it outside on such a beautiful morning was delightful! Can't wait to return in the fall!

What a wonderful jewel! My husband and I recently spent the week at the Gazebo Inn, and everything from check-in (reservation, actually) to check-out was professional, courteous, and exceeded our expectations. We had privacy when we wanted it; but the owners and their team were also there to assist when needed with everything from travel suggestions to amenities to helping us carry luggage and souvenirs to and from our room. (Literally, each evening when we pulled into the parking lot, if the desk attendant saw us, he would ask if we needed help carrying anything to the room. How sweet is that?) The breakfasts were delicious - with all the traditional choices that made my husband happy, but also extra flavor and flair options to add a gourmet touch (which was a nice treat for me!). The room was cozy, the bed very comfortable, and the sheets luxurious (we bought a set!). From our first night there, it felt like we were "coming home" every time we returned to our room. To Scott (the owner) and Peter (the manager): your attention to detail and special touches was outdone only by your genuine kindness and caring service. Thank you for an excellent visit! :) -bruce & kimberly

We just returned from a two night stay at the Inn to celebrate our 6th wedding anniversary. Upon arrival, although we did not book any special add-ons, we had chocolate covered strawberries waiting for us, as the innkeepers knew we were there to celebrate our anniversary! Very thoughtful! Our room was lovely (Barn 4)...wish we stayed long enough to use the jetted tub!! Would love to remodel my home bathroom after this one - I now know I need a rainforest shower head! I cannot say enough about the towels - softest I've ever used! Hot tub was great. Breakfast was really delicious - as good as you'd get at a restaurant! Would love to come back!

If you're looking for an inn that delivers a quiet, luxurious, romantic atmosphere with unparalleled amenities, attention to detail, customer service and friendly staff in one of the most beautiful places in Maine...this is the place for you. This is our first trip to the Gazebo Inn, and certainly not the last. Scott & Peter take such pride in creating the perfect experience for each one of their guests. They offered helpful suggestions and packages to nearby restaurants, and are more than willing to help you find something to do during the day if you're unfamiliar with the area. The rooms are beautiful and beyond comfortable, and the amenities above any expectations. If given the opportunity, stay in one of the suites. I promise you won't be disappointed. Heated floors, giant steam showers and baths. You truly need a day set aside just to enjoy the room! The breakfasts were delicious and amazingly generous (don't forget to try their scones!). We skipped lunch both days! As always, we are sad to leave, but excited to plan a return trip! On, or off season the trip is always amazing. This year we took home an ornament to put on our Christmas tree. Perhaps next year we'll take home some of their amazing bed linens & towels! Thanks again Scott & Peter! You guys are the best!

Down- home B&B atmosphere while relaxing and being pampered.Plush robes and towels, chocolates on the bed and spa bathrooms all add to a luxury feel.Add-ons like massages or chocolate covered strawberries and discounted dining packages help to complete your feeling of rest and relaxation. Scott and Peter show great hospitality and are knowledgable about events and surrounding towns.Terrific buffet breakfast is also included in the room rate. The only thing I don't like is giving the room key back after my stay!!

The Gazaebo Inn is, simply put, Magical. We had returned to the US for a wedding and wanted a short four day holiday in Ogunnquit before returning home to Belgium. Of course often you book reservations not really knowing how a hotel experience will be; there is always some trepidation. If I could give 10 stars to this Inn, I would be the first in line to give the award. The owners are warm and detailed, the staff and hotels itself reflect the pride and love that is paid to every customer and to the hotel itself. For breakfast, which varies daily, we were treated to home-made Belgian waffles, an assortment of locally grown sausages, eggs and produce. There is a very fine assortment of coffees and teas available. If it does not get any better, cranberry and white chocolate scones, as well as chilled apple cider and herbal tea was availlable in the huge living area adjacent to the out doir pool and salt water jazuzzi. There is never an issue with robes and towels, they were plentiful. The hotel rooms are well appointed. The matress on our bed was top quality and super comfy; cloud-like! To top off the whole experience, I booked a massage session with the in-house masseuse, Aaron. Having had sciatica nerve issues for over a month and had seen several osteopaths in Belgium, I was willing to give a sacro-pelvic massage a go. And being a licenced massage therapist myself, I admit to being a massage junkie. I will steal his techniques for my own practice because after a one hour session, my sciatic nerve pain was 90% deminished. Three days later, even less pain. So book your massage with Aaron! He's awesome. To end a somewhat long review, I plan on returning to the Gazebo Inn again and again, no question. As the Belge would say, "Une bonne adresse!"
