We had two wonderful nights at Jacqui's Bed & Breakfast and it was the best. We were greeted by Jacqui and offered a glass of wine. Our "Garden Room" was exactly as pictured and perfectly furnished. Breakfast was outstanding. We usually stay in motels and this was such a beautiful change that we will now be spoiled forever and expect the same perfect reception in the future. I can't think of one thing that could be added to improve any visit to Almost Home. Great location, quiet, perfect hostess and just a lovely home.

Innkeeper Jacqui is amazingly imaginative and thorough in her decorations, preparations, and her attention to her guests. She willingly arranged for our arrival after midnight. She provided gluten free baking and a gourmet, gluten free breakfast for my wife and me on a lovely patio surrounded by beautiful gardens. The room was sparklingly clean, spacious, and well appointed. The bed was fresh and comfortable. The inn is on a quiet side street, accessible to a colorful Maine seaside town. We will definitely return!

If you want a gourmet breakfast, beatiful rooms, with an unbelievably helpful and attentive hostess in a great location, this is the place to stay. We have stayed in dozens of bed and breakfasts in many different tourist destinations and found this bed and breakfast to be one of the very best. Jacqui knew just what to recommend, made reservations, and even drove us to one of the restaurants where we enjoyed a fantastic dinner. What service. The breakfast was delicious, full and kept us going through our day of touring this beautiful seaside town. It was also noteworthy that all of the other guests while we were there were repeat visitors to Almost Home. We cannot say enough about the wonderful time we had at Almost Home and can't wait to return next year!! - Happy Guests Jack and Florence, Braintree Ma

stayed at Almost Home Inn on a business trip and it was like being at home. Jacqui, the Innkeeper was very welcoming, she does not treat you like a stranger. She was not open for business, however because I knew someone who had stayed with her before she allowed me to stay at her place and I have no regrets. The breakfast is great, ample parking, fantastic wine and cheese in the afternoon....this was a very pleasant surprise, clean rooms, separate entrance which allows for privacy and she even taught me to play cribbage!!! I do not know if she will have time to play games in the busy season but on the off season, you are in for a treat.
