Jacqui is the key to a wonderful stay in Ogunquit! She was ready with reccommendations for food, drinks, and things to do as soon as we arrived. Breakfast was outstanding and the room was perfect; very clean, big comfy bed, and everything else you would need. The Inn is situated within a ten minute walk to town and within ten minutes to the more quiet side of the beach, so you can get anywhere very easily.

We had two wonderful nights at Jacqui's Bed & Breakfast and it was the best. We were greeted by Jacqui and offered a glass of wine. Our "Garden Room" was exactly as pictured and perfectly furnished. Breakfast was outstanding. We usually stay in motels and this was such a beautiful change that we will now be spoiled forever and expect the same perfect reception in the future. I can't think of one thing that could be added to improve any visit to Almost Home. Great location, quiet, perfect hostess and just a lovely home.

Innkeeper Jacqui is amazingly imaginative and thorough in her decorations, preparations, and her attention to her guests. She willingly arranged for our arrival after midnight. She provided gluten free baking and a gourmet, gluten free breakfast for my wife and me on a lovely patio surrounded by beautiful gardens. The room was sparklingly clean, spacious, and well appointed. The bed was fresh and comfortable. The inn is on a quiet side street, accessible to a colorful Maine seaside town. We will definitely return!

If you want a gourmet breakfast, beatiful rooms, with an unbelievably helpful and attentive hostess in a great location, this is the place to stay. We have stayed in dozens of bed and breakfasts in many different tourist destinations and found this bed and breakfast to be one of the very best. Jacqui knew just what to recommend, made reservations, and even drove us to one of the restaurants where we enjoyed a fantastic dinner. What service. The breakfast was delicious, full and kept us going through our day of touring this beautiful seaside town. It was also noteworthy that all of the other guests while we were there were repeat visitors to Almost Home. We cannot say enough about the wonderful time we had at Almost Home and can't wait to return next year!! - Happy Guests Jack and Florence, Braintree Ma

stayed at Almost Home Inn on a business trip and it was like being at home. Jacqui, the Innkeeper was very welcoming, she does not treat you like a stranger. She was not open for business, however because I knew someone who had stayed with her before she allowed me to stay at her place and I have no regrets. The breakfast is great, ample parking, fantastic wine and cheese in the afternoon....this was a very pleasant surprise, clean rooms, separate entrance which allows for privacy and she even taught me to play cribbage!!! I do not know if she will have time to play games in the busy season but on the off season, you are in for a treat.

My wife and I visited the Almost Home Inn this past June. The rooms were spacious and clean as dedicted on the website. The breakfast was very good. Jacqui, the hostess, makes you feel right at home. Visiting her was like staying with a good friend or a member of your family. She will give you good counsel on places and things to do in the region. If you are nice to her I bet she'll treat you to one of her wine producer son's zinfindels. We think Jacqui is a sweetie, Barb & Roy

In July we spent 3 days at Almost Home. Jacqui is gracious and helpful innkeeper. She prepares a delicious, full breakfast each morning which she served on the beautiful front patio. She provides suggestions for activities and restaurants to meet your pocketbook. When making our reservation at MC Perkins restaurant she informed them that we were celebrating our 30th anniversary. We were treated royally , and seated at a view table looking out over the ocean. We hope to return in the near future for a restful, friendly vacation at Almost Home Inn.

We found a reference to "Almost Home Inn" on a gluten-free blog, and have returned from a very pleasant and relaxing 3 night stay. Jacqui was wonderful with my wife's gluten-free diet, helpful with restaurant recommendations, and everything else. We can't wait to return!

We stayed one night at Almost Home Inn in Ogunquit. Our room was beautiful, and the bed was very comfortable. Our hostess, Jacqui, had a lovely cheese dip, crackers and wine for us in the afternoon. She gave us suggestions on where to eat lobster (Barnacle Billy's) Breakfast was delicious. We enjoyed visiting round the breakfast table with the other guests. I would recommend this place, especially because it is in a quiet part of town.....great for sleeping and parking. We would stay there again if we were in the area.

We fell in love with this place. It's private, charming and magical. The hostess is a wonderful and endearing lady. She even baked us shortbreads and provided milk. This is as good as it gets for B&B's.
