Erik, Sarah, Tina and the rest of the staff were incredibly accommodating, welcoming and did everything possible to ensure that we had an enjoyable stay. Elegant & Welcoming B&B

    February 21, 2013

My husband & I stayed at Captain Jefferds for a mini-honeymoon following our wedding. The Inn is beautiful and the staff are friendly and down-to-earth. Our suite was comfortable yet elegant. The home-made breakfasts served were delicious & being that we stayed there in the winter, it was nice to come "home" to cookies and hot cider/tea as a treat at the Inn. Also, desptie the off-season, there's still plenty to do - there's a spa nearby, a farm that you can take horse-drawn sleighrides at, antique shops, and many of the local boutique & candy shops are still open in winter months. We recommend this B&B for any season, any occasion.

    Rekindle Relax and Enjoy

    February 18, 2013

As a young widow and widower going away for the first time together after 3 years of being alone, I was determined to find a special place. The Inn is more than special. It is lovely in all aspects. The Baxter was a warm and wonderful room. My golden doodle was welcomed with a special bone, bedding and a set of bowls. We were oh so comfortable with our fireplace and jacuzzi as we sat and watched the snow fly. The staff and Innkeepers are devoted to making sure you are happy. Seriously, we had to ask for nothing, it was all at our fingertips. Breakfast was above expectation along with great coffee! How beautiful this inn is. We were there for a snowy Valentine Weekend, met some wonderful people and got to know each other a little better with pure comfort and delight around us. Thanks for having us, see you soon. Run, don't walk, to the Captain Jefferds Inn

    December 10, 2012

We have stayed here three times, reunioning with three other couples. We have gone in mid-week December and found it to be an idea time to be in Kennebunkport - Christmasy, without the weekend crowds. The rooms where the 8 of us congregate are fabulous... a sunroom in the a.m., where we read papers, drink coffee and await the delicious breakfast... the "livingroom" with a lovely fireplace fire in the evenings, where we sip wine, play games, converse next to the beautifuly decorated Christmas tree. Service is impeccable. Location is ideal (5-minute walk to town). Rooms are charming (ours has a fireplace). Hosts could not be more gracious. Best B& B we have even encountered!!
