Come to Bufflehead Cove for peace and pampering in a very private setting right on the water. Famous Kennebunkport village is just around the bend of the river. Bring your kayak or bike and explore, or just sit on our front porch and read a good book.

Owners and family are very friendly and accommodating. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Love the fact that the inn is set back off the road and right on the cove.

This is our second year to stay here, and we have rebooked for 2016. The breakfast is so generous that my husband and I don't need lunch. Very clean as usual. Bottled water is furnished every day. We stay in the hideaway room which is very private overlooking the kennybunk river. The value is excellent. They bring breakfast to our room every morning. They make us feel very special while we're there. The gas fireplace is Devine. Can't say enough about bufflehead cove inn - it's a gem! Moe and lorraine

I have stayed at many bed and breakfasts but only one comes even close to the Bufflehead Inn for ambience, beauty and comfort. Harriet (and her family)is are so professional when it comes to providing a warm welcome, caring atmosphere, delicious food (breakfast!!! Snacks!!! Hot coffee and teas at all times and a 5pm wine and cheese plate. Somehow how she even managed to provide interesting and comedic guests to entertain and interact with. (The breakfast hour was more like a morning party time! Fun! And the setting - perched on Bufflehead Cove we could watch the birds, the watch the fall foliage.,, it was quiet and serene and restful. And our room? I'd like to take it home as well! Comfortable, functional and lovely!

I really enjoyed my stay for a long weekend getaway. The owners are wonderful and inviting. The place is secluded yet close to everything. Extremely clean and the rooms was perfect (I stayed in the Balcony Room). The breakfast was amazing. If I had one concern (which was minor) was that you could hear music one night from the town, but it stopped around 11 and I just happened to be in earlier that night. It would not keep me from returning.

Our favorite place for a relaxing get away and has been for many years. The stay at Bufflehead Cove Inn has never been less than a perfect 10 and we recommend it with no hesitation. From the time we drive up the gravel road until we say good bye to Harriet and Erin our every need is taken care of with a warm smile. The rooms, grounds, breakfast and hospitality will meet or exceed your expectations.

This is by far the most relaxing place to visit. Harriet and Erin make you feel so welcome and offer excellent service. Helena cooks a wonderful filling breakfast served overlooking the lazy river. So peaceful. We have been coming here for years and look forward to many more. You will love the peace and quiet.

This was a great find! The inn is close to town, but so peaceful and quiet on the river. Very relaxing for a romantic weekend getaway. There was a couple staying there that return every year. I would definitely come back and highly recommend this inn!
