Greenville Inn

Step inside this award winning inn and return to another era in an elegantly restored lumber baron’s mansion built in 1895.

The inn is located on 5 acres overlooking Moosehead Lake. We offer luxury suites & inn rooms, as well as family friendly private suites & cottages. A leisurely one block stroll has you at the shores of Moosehead Lake and the town of Greenville.

The stairway landing is graced by a spruce tree painted on a large leaded glass window. Fireplaces are ornamented with carved mantels, mosaic and English tiles. Embossed Lincrusta and gas lights adorn the walls. A true gem in the northwoods of maine!

Relax and enjoy the sunset in wicker chairs on your private verandah facing the mountains. You will sleep in a king bed draped with soft scarves. While lying in bed, you will be able to enjoy the breathtaking views of the lake and mountains. Enjoy the glow of the fireplace while being messaged in our two person whirlpool tub or while snuggling in bed. Watch cable TV or your favorite movie on VCR or DVD while lounging in the tub or bed in our fluffy robes.

There are two sitting areas to enjoy the view or just watch TV. The upper room, which we call the Tower Room, has a sofa bed, an easy chair, cable TV and even a telescope! Our gourmet chef will delight you with a variety of seasonal selections such as New Zealand Lamb, Rack of New england Venison, Boneless Breast of Jersey Duckling.
