The value compared to other Freeport B&B's and the home made breakfast from scratch... I can't begin to describe how comfortable Chip and Janet make you feel.

Thank you for a lovely stay!

Janet and Chip were very friendly and hospitable and accommodated to our every need. We were very happy with the stay. The room was very clean and quiet and with the air conditioner on, we slept like babies even though the family in the next room had two dogs. Mind you – I am a VERY light sleeper and everything wakes me up. I guess I just felt so comfortable in the inn that I had the best night sleep in a very long run. The breakfast was delicious – blueberry pancakes with fresh berries and maple syrup, the eggs with cheese and outstanding sausages, fresh juices and so on and so on... My boyfriend refuses breakfast for as long as I know him and here, at the Maple Hill B&B, I had to pull him out of the table. My only complain for the breakfast – the coffee is a little on the light side for me, but it was not a big problem since there were several coffee shops around the corner. Janet and Chip allowed us to keep our things in the room until late afternoon so that we can take a shower after the beach, which was very valuable for us. All’n’all – great stay! Thank you, Janet and Chip!

this was a great bed and breakfast near bowdoin college and one to which I plan to return frequently during the next few years - lovely, cozy, and great breakfast - thanks! (although I missed seeing the golden retriever which appears on the website!)

Owners very warm and friendly; fresh baked cookies and wonderful breakfast. Wouldn't hesitate to make a return trip! Bedroom and livingroom fine, not spectacular; dining room lovely; and new addition promises to be very attractive. Great location!
