Each room is spacious, comfortable, individually heated and air-conditioned, and has a large private bath. Three of our queen rooms have gas fireplaces with custom mantels. All our rooms have flat-screen satellite TV & Keurig coffee-makers. One suite accommodates up to four people & has a refigerator. The other has a sitting room with large TV, & refrigerator. A full, hot, gourmet breakfast is served daily in the dining room. Our menu includes delicious dishes with freshly baked muffins and breads and a variety of main dishes. One of the best!

4.0 on May 28, 2015

Had a wonderful 4 day stay at the Brewster House B&B. The hosts, Mary and Scott, went out of their way to make us feel comfortable. We stayed in the Pemaquid room which was just as lovely as it looked in the brochure. Mary is a wonder in the kitchen. Her breakfasts were over the top...some of the best we've ever.had at a B&B. My wife has celiac disease, and Mary went above and beyond to ensure that the delicious breakfasts and afternoon cookies were completely gluten free and were not cross contaminated.. Mary also made sure that when she put afternoon cookies out that the gluten free cookies were on a separate 'gluten-free' labeled domed serving plate. Not many innkeepers would take the time to do this. Scott is a wealth of information and he has many tips about visiting places off the beaten path. If you are a shopper, the Brewster House is the perfect locastion for you. You can park your car upon arrival and walk to all the shops and restaurants for your entire stay. I would definitely recommend the Brewster House and can't wait to return!

Innkeeper Response

Peaceful and relaxing stay

My husband and I stayed at The Brewster House on a Veterans Day. Scott and Mary open their home free of charge to veterans. We had a peaceful and relaxing stay. The Brewster House is beautiful and spotless. Mary and Scott are friendly and you can see they love their "second careers" as innkeepers. Mary breakfast was absolutely delicious. We greatly appreciate as a military family what Scott and Mary give to Veterans. We highly recommend staying at The Brewster House if you visit the quaint village of Freeport.

Innkeeper Response
We so enjoyed giving back to all of you folks and your families who have given so much of your lives to keep us safe and free. Can't wait to host our Veterans again next year!

Brewster House is truly wonderful place to stay! Our room was perfectly appointed and so comfortable. Scott and Mary are very gracious and welcoming. They provided us with great suggestions about things to do. We will absolutely stay there again when we get back to the Portland/Freeport area.

Touring New England

4.6 on October 08, 2014

We stayed here as part of a tour of New England. Scott and Mary provided a lovely room and all of the extra touches we had agreed before our arrival. The morning breakfast was stylish, healthy and scrumptious. The BnB is located very conveniently to the shops and restaurants. Scott and Mary are friendly and helpful, providing information on where best to see the lighthouses of Maine.

Great getaway!

4.8 on October 06, 2014

The inn is adorable and meticulously maintained, to start with. Location is PERFECT - just far enough away to be quiet, but a really short and leisurely walk from all the Freeport shopping and fun. We coupled our stay with an LL Bean Outdoor Adventure, and it was the perfect weekend. Kind, gracious hosts and phenomenal breakfast! I have several food restrictions and I ate plenty and deliciously during our stay! HIGHLY recommended, we can't wait to go back.

Innkeeper Response
We loved sharing your pleasure with your escape here, and watching you both enjoy our home. Remember our 2 for 3 offer in November and the slower Winter months!
