Brewster House is a restored Queen Anne Victorian. Antique furnishings and traditional decorating compliment features like tin ceilings and carved moldings. Each room is spacious, comfortable, individually heated and air-conditioned and has a large private bath. Our suites can accommodate up to four people (five with rollaway bed, at an additional charge). A full, hot, breakfast is served daily in the dining room. Our menu offers delicious dishes with freshly baked muffins and breads and a variety of main dishes. Brewster House is just three short blocks from L.L. Bean and shops, and 15-20 min. from Portland. Our guests may park in our lot and walk the short distance to Freeport's many oshops and restaurants. Freeport is also home to many activities for which Maine is known, including boating, swimming, fishing, bicycling, hiking and cross-country skiing.

    Strawberry-croissant French toast is one of the favorites at our breakfast table. Often we add fresh blueberries to make a truly delightful treat!Room One is located on the ground floor. The twin beds can also be converted into a very comfortable King bed (rate is higher for King). The room has a private bath with low sill shower.
    Upon entering this second floor room you are greeted by a beautiful, large bay window that creates a bright and sunny atmosphere almost every day. The cozy sitting area is located in front of the bay window and is complete with antique armoire along with period reproduction chairs, antique table and a floor lamp. The carpet and walls are a soothing sage green, contrasting beautifully with the original exquisite hand-carved woodwork. The antique dresser and four poster queen bed compliment the original carved woodwork around the windows. Romantic Croscill "Sarah" linens complete the bed. The spacious private bathroom has a polished maple floor and full sized tub/shower combination. The side porch welcomes our guests, and also provides a wonderful spot to enjoy the fresh Maine air!
    The antiques and period funiture grace our parlor and invite you to spend some time curled up with a good book, or sharing a conversation with friends.Brewster House is a lovely restored Queen Anne Victorian home, located only a few blocks from LL Bean and over 160 Freeport shops. The rugged coastline is nearby at Wolfe's Neck State Park. Several renowned lighthouses are a short drive away.
    Brewster House provides a cheerful welcome on a winter evening.This suite features a very large room with a king bed and a smaller room with a queen bed. Each room is decorated in shades of soft beige. The linens are luxurious in a tone on tone print of champagne beige silk. The carpet in both rooms is pale beige. The king room has a beautiful antique armoire for clothing and a cozy sitting area featuring white wicker furniture. The queen room is furnished with the same linens and is complete with a rocking chair for relaxing. Each of the rooms has its own door into the third floor hallway. A very large private bathroom with a full sized tub/shower combination connects the two rooms.
    The softly colored gray walls and pale gray carpet of this spacious second-floor room create the base for the lovely "bed of roses" linens by Ralph Lauren. The queen bed has a lovely brass/silver headboard. The antique mirrored dresser compliments the carved woodwork which is original to the house. The sitting area boasts a cushioned antique Deacon's bench in the large bay window, and is perfect for relaxing with a good book. The bay windows face the front of the house, and a second large window faces the side of the house. The large private bathroom features a full sized tub/shower combination.
